"A fantastic family stay for soghtseeing"
Location was superb for sightseeing.
Room was clean and still had some room with the 3 beds in it to move around.
The main positive was the friendly staff. They were responsive and helpful to every question we asked plus were great at both dinner and breakfast.

"Good value choice in a great location."
I really enjoyed my stay here- staff were all friendly, rooms were quiet with good WiFi and air conditioning, and it was close to everything I needed to get to. Would definitely stay here again and would choose it over the County Hall branch just across the road for peace and value.

"Great place to stay"
We stayed here as a base for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room we were allocated had an amazing view of the Thames, Parliament and Big Ben which was magical for our daughter. The breakfast was great, loads on offer and all very nicely presented and often restocked. The best part was the team of staff, they were really friendly, helpful and hard working.
Many thanks

""You know what you’re getting with a Premier Inn”…"
you know what you’re getting with a Premier Inn”…
2 night stay Thurs-Sat.
Location was great. 5 mins from London Eye, Waterloo station practically on the doorstep, bus stops nearby. A short walk via Leake Street graffiti tunnel to the pleasant pedestrianised area of Lower Marsh with independent bars & restaurants.
Room exactly as expected, looks just like a Premier Inn room should, hence no photos.
We paid for a “proper” twin with 2 single beds, and that’s what we got. Unfortunately, no view from the room, only overlooking a lightwell, however we still got plenty of daylight. On the upside, this meant no street noise.
Room was clean. Powerful, hot shower. No issues with noise from corridors or neighbours.
I have seen a couple of reviews with complaints that beds were not made, towels not changed mid stay. Perhaps those reviewers were unaware of PI’s new policy that they do not clean/tidy rooms for those staying for more than one night **unless you request it at reception**. We did so, and our beds were made and towels changed as expected.
The bar/restaurant is in the basement.
Meal deal is excellent value. Upgrade of about £16 from the cost of B&B for a 2 course evening meal including a beer/wine/soft drink. A dessert can be added on for another small charge, about £3 I think. Plenty of food options on the meal deal menu. Food was hot and tasty. £19 for a 3 course meal with alcoholic drink in Central London? Almost impossible to beat, and no extra walking required. Evening bar/restaurant team member Michelle was lovely. They also do a weekday “Happy Hour” from 5-9pm with 2 for £10 on certain beer, wine, cider and single measure spirits. Again, excellent value.
Breakfast – smiley, chatty team members kept the buffet well stocked, and worked hard to keep tables clear.
Reception team were helpful, allowing us to enter our room when we arrived 1 hour before official check in. The check out time of 12 noon was v useful, allowing us to keep our cases in our rooms before we were ready to leave.
We reported some minor maintenance issues with the room, and these were dealt with whilst we were out for the day. My pre-arrival email query was responded to quickly, and confirmed the existence of a luggage room if we needed it.
Lifts – only 2 lifts, not ideal in a 14 floor building, especially at busy times of day.
Unfortunately one lift was making a loud noise on our first morning, and as our room 409 backed onto the lift shaft, we reported it.
By the time we returned that evening, it seemed the problem had been fixed, but overnight we could hear some noise (only faintly) from the lift again. Thankfully ear plugs blocked it out.
So do be wary of any rooms backing onto/near the lift shaft.
One other thing to note with the lifts – for security, you have to tap your room card on the sensor before it will let you enter a floor number. But one card = one button push. So don’t assume that pressing your floor button is enough, even if there are already people in the lift. You will need to tap your own card before it will acknowledge a different floor button being pushed. We saw a few people get caught out by this and had to explain it to them!
