"Hotel with history"
This is a Premier Inn in a historic building which was once a maternity hospital. It's within walking distance of Waterloo. Lovely helpful staff, and the hotel was quiet. Also- a comfy clean room.

"Family holiday"
Spent a very busy couple of days here exploring the sights with our 5 year old. The room was large enough for our needs and all the staff we met were helpful.
Special mention for Faye in the restaurant, she is so lovely and makes everyone feel like their special, such a credit to the hotel.

"Avoid at all costs - the worst Premier Inn experience"
This was the worst Premier Inn I have ever, ever stayed at.
There was no warning at the time of booking that the hotel had no air conditioning, which made the room virtually unusable for sleeping. Despite the outside temperature being only 23°C during the day, the room was still 27°C in the middle of the night. The fans provided were either broken or so ineffective that they made no meaningful difference. Windows couldn't be opened as the sound of traffic and sirens were consistent throughout the night.
The corridors were shabby, poorly ventilated and felt neglected.
To make matters worse, staff responded to complaints with a condescending and unprofessional attitude, rather than acknowledging the obvious problem. They tried to claim that a notice re AC was visible before the booking was made. When I showed the staff member all pages of booking process to show that there was NO mention of a broken AC, they refused to accept responsibility or offer an apology for their mistake. In fact, I highlighted that the booking page says "air conditioning in most hotels". This is misleading.
There only solution was to offer to cancel the room without a refund. This would not have solved any issue, and they knew that. It was 8.30pm at night.
Even without mention of no AC, the fact that Premier Inn is happy to house guests in inhabitable conditions is shocking. A hotel should offer basic requirements as standard - a room temperature of 27°C on an average May evening is simply unacceptable.
A basic expectation of a hotel room is that it should be possible to sleep comfortably, and that staff actually attempt to find solutions to basic issues - rather than trying to gaslight and condescend the guests. To charge £177 for this experience is insulting.
