"Awful"
Room was fine. However no running water in the morning so could not shower, brush teeth etc. The fire alarm was going off for at least 30 minutes. There were no staff around to talk to or explain what was happening, eventually I had to leave. As I left without alerting the reception staff to the fact my room had no running water (despite the entire hotel being without running water) a refund has been refused. Do not stay here.

"Not so Premier!"
A very poor relation to the standard Premier Inn. Starting with the positives, great location for Wimbledon, decent price for 3 nights and the lovely Maria who worked in the restaurant. The only staff member we ever seemed to see. Negatives...very outdated premises. Corridor has grubby carpeting which smelt fusty. Same in the room. Terrible decor, lacking counter /desk space, no fridge, though iron and board were both on request. Shower was over a bath, steep and slippy with no bath mat, just a tatty curtain. Wall had been plastered and not painted. Chair was dirty and stained. Paint on walls was dull and grubby. No phone and no one ever on reception. Extra single bed was not made until our last day. Double bed was ok bit not standard Premier Inn comfort o style. Wasn't even made properly! Hot breakfast food was cold. Overall not like any other Premier Inn Ive used before. Will not stay here again. Tolgarth Rd was so much better. Disappointing stay.

"Scam Pricing"
Booked for a night due to an emergency. Wanted to extend and went to reception to do this. It was £187 and they informed me it was cheaper to do it online. Went to do it online and it was more expensive. Went back to reception and they denied any knowledge or responsibility and said that the more expensive price was the new price now. Absolute scam and did not book again. Premier inn take note you’ve lost business because of this.

"Great Location, Mixed Experience"
I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Wandsworth and overall had a pleasant experience, with a few areas that could be improved.
The positives:
The location was excellent — right next to the shopping centre and several bus stops, and only a short walk to the train station, which made getting around London very easy. My room was comfortable, with a good bed and air conditioning that kept things at a nice temperature. The blackout curtains were extremely effective and made it easy to sleep, even during the long June daylight hours. I also found the prepaid breakfast to be decent value. Elevator access was convenient, and the housekeeping request I made during my stay was handled promptly and exactly as needed.
Where things could be better:
I wasn’t used to not having a staff member consistently present at the front desk. Having to buzz for assistance or to be let into the breakfast area each morning felt a bit inconvenient. At breakfast, I also had to explain each day that I was prepaid, and it often took longer than expected for staff to find my name on their list.
In the room, it would have helped to have a note explaining how the lighting system works. I wasn’t familiar with the master switch that requires inserting a card by the door, and initially thought something was wrong with the room. My room also didn’t have a TV remote for the first day and a half, which led me to believe the TV wasn’t working until a staff member brought one around. One of the vanity mirror light bars (room 123) was also very dim or burnt out.
At breakfast, I noticed that some of the food items — especially pastries and fruit — tended to attract flies shortly after being set out. In the bathroom, the shower curtain was too short for the tub, which made it hard to keep water from splashing out. I also wasn’t informed that the bed was actually two twin mattresses pushed together, which created a noticeable gap in the middle. The pillows were softer than I prefer, and a firmer option would have been appreciated.
Overall:
Despite a few inconveniences, I still had a comfortable stay and appreciated the convenient location and room comfort. With a few adjustments to communication, maintenance, and breakfast procedures, this hotel could offer an even smoother experience.
