"Perfect London base: exceptional staff, great comfort, and everything on your doorstep"
I selected the Premier Inn London Wandsworth as my go-to hotel while working in and around London, and it perfectly hits the mark for a budget-friendly, comfortable, and welcoming business stay. If you need a reliable London base that offers brilliant value without compromising on quality, this is the place.
The absolute standout of this hotel is the incredible team. Priya and Taisia work tirelessly across the reception, bar, and restaurant, and they are simply brilliant. They are thoughtful, caring, and so personable—always smiling and genuinely going the extra mile to look after guests. The food is equally impressive thanks to Chef Akshat. Every meal was fresh, quick, and cooked to perfection. He regularly steps out of the kitchen to visit tables and get feedback on his food, which adds such a warm, heartfelt touch to the dining experience.
The rooms themselves are clean, modern, and very comfortable. They completely avoid the tired decor you sometimes expect from budget hotels. The air conditioning works perfectly, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's exterior has recently been upgraded to a high-quality finish. The high street entrance is kept very clean, though it could perhaps be tweaked to give a slightly more welcoming first impression.
Location is a massive bonus here. You have a huge variety of facilities right on your doorstep at Southside Wandsworth. There are local pubs, endless food outlets for all ages, a shopping centre, a cinema, a sports shop, a gym, and even indoor rock climbing. There really is something for everyone, making it highly convenient when you finish a long day. I also felt very secure leaving my vehicle in the well-lit, camera-monitored paid car park.
There is a nice outside deck area overlooking the high street, which is elevated enough that traffic noise doesn't bother you. It is a great spot, though it could do with a little TLC—maybe some foliage and better seating arrangements to make it feel a bit less stark for guests.
Every hotel has tiny things they can improve, but the overall attractiveness of staying here is undeniable. It offers a wealth of nearby activities, exceptionally hardworking staff, and a great night's rest. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-connected, comfortable stay in Wandsworth.

"Good service"
A great stay, quiet and easy to get into London. Brilliant service by Priya and the other staff in the restaurant, quick and attentive with a smile 😊 By far the nicest service we had in London!

"Good value stay with lovely staff"
We were staying in the area for my daughter to attend a week-long summer school and this was a location that worked for us. We wanted somewhere with air con and a mini fridge and Wi-Fi so I could work during the day while she was busy. The Premier Plus room ticked all the boxes and worked really well.
We didn't eat at the hotel at all as my daughter is vegetarian (and a fussy eater) so we tried out various other local eating options instead and used the Sainbury's below the hotel too.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the room at one point but the manager, Tim, dealt with it quickly and efficiently and even arranged a card and small gift as it had happened on my birthday.
The range of shop and restaurants nearly were great and we liked being by the river, being pedestrianised it made walking from the hotel to the summer school every day very pleasant.
We asked for our rooms to be serviced every day and they were always well cleaned and remade. We found the beds comfortable, the room was quiet and with the air conditioning we slept well even with the heatwave.
All in all a very pleasant stay and good value too.
