"Extremely shabby and in need of upgrade"
For a Premier Inn its extremely shabby and in dire need of an upgrade both inside and out. On arrival the curtains in our room were shut which we thought strange. Opened them and shut them again - awful windows in desperate need of attention. Extractor didn't work in the bathroom, toilet paper was in sheet form - just supply proper toilet roll. Bathroom in need of upgrade. Paintwork throughout the hotel is extremely old and rough, lift is rickety, clunky and tired. Entire place needs some serious money spent on it. Ate in the restaurant once and it wasn't at all busy but took ages to be served. Food was OK but nothing special. Restaurant really lacked atmosphere. Would not stay here again unfortunately.
"As good as it gets for the price"
Of course, it's a chain ... but nontheless, we had a great stay here. The staff were very welcoming and always available to help, the hotel location was perfect - right in the middle of the action but on a quiet side street - and the room, although small, was big enough to be OK. We had everything we needed and it was comfy. I think, at this price, it's the best you can hope for the middle of London.
"Fantastic Service"
Fantastic service by staff member Ranga Silva who went above and beyond to help with our queries during check in to the hotel. Thank you Ranga
"Great for Families on the Go"
London is expensive, however staying at Premier Inn Victoria allowed us - a family of 4 - to experience a prime location without blowing our budget. Victoria Station is less than a 5 minute walk, giving us the freedom to come & go freely, yet the hotel is tucked away one block down a peaceful street. The room isn't large, but it accommodated our request for an additional bed and both of our kids had their own sleeping spaces. We were immediately grateful for the central air AC, not only did it keep us comfortable in the mid-August heat, but it's whisper quiet. We purchased breakfasts for each day of our stay, as kids eat free. It was a great way to start each day. The food was fresh and delicious, and all four of us were happy with the options and agreed that we didn't get bored. Impressive! There are many independent restaurants close by, and we did enjoy pizzas from Fireaway Pizza. However, we most appreciated that there is a grocery store (Sainsbury's) just around the corner, where we bought fresh snacks and lunch items. There's also a small food court of fast food restaurants located a couple blocks away in Victoria Place (entrance on Belgrave Ave) - with a 12 & 14 yo in tow, this was an important discovery! Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and location. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind & friendly. I do think it's important to mention that anyone with mobility issues should ask for a room located next to a lift (elevator), as the interior has a quirky layout and there are many stairs.
"Leisure visit to London"
Was in a lovely location ideal for what we wanted while we was there. The hotel was clean quiet and had all that we needed for our stay. I would stay again.
