"Clean, good value, family-friendly but a bit far from the Tube"
The hotel is clean, moderately-priced, air-conditioned, safe, family-friendly and well-situated if you want to stay in London without overpaying. The staff is also extremely friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the breakfast is delicious. However, it is not very close to the nearest Tube stop, so keep this in mind if you are visiting for tourism or if you have young children who do not like to walk far. If you fall into either of those groups, I would suggest checking Premier Inn London Tower Bank first. It is closer to most attractions and is very close to the District Line (Monument stop), which offers excellent access to most London attractions. This location is close to London Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, but those are the only two, and as you can visit them both in a day, you will spend a lot of time hoofing it back and forth to the Tube to see other sites like Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St James’s Palace, the museums, West End, Piccadilly Square, Churchill Rooms, etc. Keep that in mind, but if there is no availability at London Tower Bank, this hotel is perfectly suitable and will do well. One other thing to mention is that it’s located on a semi-busy street, so if you have a street-facing room, you will hear traffic noise during the night. There are many restaurants nearby, and there is also a Papa John’s and a convenience store across the street.
"Convenient location, warm welcome"
The staff were so helpful, a very warm welcome given. Excellent value and great location. I forgot my toothbrush and one was immediately found for me!
"Never fails - great location and good staff"
We have stayed here many times before and whilst not the closest place to a tube station - we all need to get our steps in after a hefty all you can eat breakfast! The place has had a re-vamp since we were last there and it’s certainly brightened up the dining area. The staff were amazing - and my wife’s full Gluten Free breakfast was made from scratch - great service! My only (picky) fault is that the coffee is weak and lacklustre - but that’s seems to be the case in most places nowadays - so an extra espresso shot was needed to bring it up to par. Would we go again - a resounding yes!
"Poor Breakfast"
Whilst all other aspects were very good the fact that the cooked buffet breakfast items were kept barely warm. We did mention this to a waitress at the time but there was not any follow up. We have another Premier Inn overnight stay booked at a different hotel but will NOT take the breakfast option choosing to eat elsewhere.
"Everything was fine!"
Everything was fine: the staff, the check-in, the room, the bathroom, all the facilities and overall THE BREAKFAST was so good! Absolutely to recommend...
