London Tolworth hotel

Good for the price, but a few things let it down No room cleaning unless you ask for it. It would be good if hotel staff would at least clear other residence, pizza boxes, and so on from outside their rooms, as otherwise, it stinks up the corridors. The car park is no good if you have a van, as I did. There is a station car park next door, but it was full on two of the three nights that I was there. There is a door from reception to the lifts, which requires a key card to activate. It was frequently left propped open, which is clearly bad for security. I kept closing it, somebody else kept leaving it open. Not great. My first stay at a Premier Inn hotel, I was reasonably happy, for the money it is a bargain. I did not eat there, so I cannot comment on the restaurant, but the menu options looked pretty decent.

Claire and the team at tolworth were brilliant ! Super helpful and had a great stay all very friendly and rooms were great .

My thanks to the staff for a great experience for breakfast. The chef was super-friendly and nothing was any bother for him to sort for you. I find the quality great especially the bacon which is delicious. Thanks again for always making the start to the day very tasty.

We had a lovely breakfast in the tolworth branch for my mums last minute birthday breakfast and it was a brilliant experience Claire was a fantastic host with the best energy and made sure we had a brilliant morning she even let us leave a birthday cake in the back whilst we waited and ate ! Claire’s service and attention to detail was brilliant definitely would go back for the food again just for Claire’s service !

I often stay at this hotel, and I'm always impressed with the facilities, ambience, setting, competitive pricing, but most of all I'm consistently impressed by the wonderfully kind and attentive staff who will always go out of their way to help their guests. Last time I stayed was in November, it was a particularly happy time for me as I was meeting my Mum for the first time in a while and she's about to move to a new house, to live with sister, my closest aunt which as a family we're all very pleased about. I was greeted at the check in desk by Vivi, it was clear there were renovations going on and the staff were all even busier than usual, but Vivi took time to explain to me the facilities. I asked about booking a table for dinner, this worked out perfectly as it begins at 6.00 PM - so I had time to have a shower and meet my Mum the booking I'd made for 6.15 PM. We were fortunate enough to be seated and waited on at our table by Sarah, she was very attentive and showed real care explaining the menu to Mum and I. And when it arrived the food was great, we both went for the fish and chips option, which I would certainly recommend, excellent food very reasonably priced. It must have been obvious this was a very happy occasion for me as I was full of energy but Sarah was very patient and understanding with me. Thank you, Sarah! The meal was wonderful and a great experience overall. Then later in the evening after I'd said good by to Mum, I realised I needed desperately to iron a shirt for work the next day, I had a couple of quite important meetings, so I needed to look my best. This is where Vivi stepped in, or more accurately, stepped up three floors to find an ironing board and iron for me (as other guests had taken them from the first two floors much earlier that evening!) so the day, or night in this case, was saved! Thank you Vivi. I always sleep so soundly on the Premier Inn beds and the rooms in this hotel are always kept immaculately well. And the next day I had breakfast in the dining area, again everything here is spot on, self service and cooked option, always with pleasant and cheerful staff on hand to serve throughout. Then it was a short step to Tolworth station for me before heading to Waterloo and then off to the office for the day. I highly recommend this hotel, so much better value than hotels in the centre of London, it really is a hidden gem in the leafy suburb of Tolworth.
