"I recommend!"
We stayed one night at premier inn Tolworth station and found it well located, close to the railway station.
The room was clean, in good condition and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and staff very helpful.

"Best Premier Inn"
Very clean and well-maintained rooms with a high standard of comfort. Staff provided excellent service. I am used to Premier Inn, but I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of that property. Great location as well, right next to Tolworth Station.

"Wouldn't stay here again"
Poor. Old furniture, carpets and no windows. Bathroom was dated too and the cold water tap in the sink wasn't working. Car park was really bad too. Spaces are very small even for medium sized cars and limited on a first come first served basis.

Family room was a bit cramped and bathroom worn and smelt a bit damp.

*Title*: _Avoid – multiple issues ruined our April 2026 stay_
We booked three rooms at Premier Inn Tolworth for 12 nights, 7th April to 19th April 2026. This was our first time in the UK and we were excited to stay here.
*What we expected*: Pleasant staff and clean rooms. That’s not too much to ask.
*Check-in – 7th April 2026*
Two rooms were ready on arrival. The third wasn’t. A female staff member walked in, didn’t acknowledge us at the desk, and went straight to assist Sangara at reservations. When Sangara asked about the room, her response was: "If the room is not ready it's not ready." Minutes later we were told it was ready and handed keys.
*Cleanliness issues*
- Duvet covers had stains – not major, but noticeable.
- Debris in the sink drain – looks like housekeeping misses this area.
- No iron or ironing board in any of the three rooms. We had to request one and share it between all rooms for 12 days.
*Housekeeping / Staff service*
We requested housekeeping but no one serviced our rooms until 13th April 2026 – six days after check-in. With two children under 4 years old .We flagged this to a housekeeper cleaning other rooms. She promised to come the next day and did provide towels when asked, but no full clean. We had to leave trash and dirty towels outside daily.
*Booking error – 12th April 2026*
A staff member knocked on our door demanding we leave in 5 minutes or pay £100. We explained checkout was 19th April. He demanded a booking number. At the lobby, the staff member who walked us down went into another room and didn’t return. A different male staff member resolved it.
Turns out we had a split booking: 7-12 April and 12-19 April. Reservations missed this detail. The way we were spoken to by both employees was abrupt and embarrassing. Tones were dismissive throughout.
*Bar service – night of 12th April*
I asked the female bartender about a drink. Her response: "I don't know," then she walked away. We still ordered, but felt unwelcome.
*General staff attitude*
Most staff did not extend basic greetings to guests. No “good morning” or “how are you?” Just very transactional and often rude.
*One major positive*: Sangara was outstanding. He was professional and very kind. He’s the only employee who made us feel welcome during our stay. Always ready to assist and have a conversation. I wish him the best in his endeavors.
*Pros*:
Location is great. Rooms were fairly clean aside from the issues noted. Sangara was excellent.
*Cons*:
Most staff were rude and disrespectful. No attempt to build rapport with paying guests. Poor communication between reservations and front desk. Housekeeping delays.
Overall I can’t recommend this Premier Inn to anyone based on our experience, though Sangara deserves recognition. Hope management sees this and improves things for future guests.
