"Premier Plus Rip Off - Avoid."
Decided to re-visit this hotel after having a good stay before, and thought we’d upgrade to a Premier Plus room. £215/2 nights not inc breakfast.
Unfortunately this time it wasn’t the same.
First of all, at the self service check in , our booking was there but not able to proceed with it, I had to go & get a bar member to help me, as Reception , as always was very busy with 1 member of staff. Luckily the lady sorted it out , and we could go up to our room on the 10th floor. First impressions were good. All very clean.
Then I noticed for the 2 night stay , we were only given for two people, 2 bottles of water & the bare minimum of tea & coffee, including 4 coffee pods for the machine.
Ultimate WiFi ?!! no different to their normal WiFi…
Bathroom Bin hadn’t been emptied !!
When it came to use the shower , the water pressure was absolutely terrible , just trickled out and to top it off the hot water was barely hot.
Breakfast wasn’t great , long queues waiting , under staffed . The fruit selection was shocking , mixed red berries , yogurt & a Granny Smith Apple - whole ( which was impossible to cut up ) Other Premiers we’ve stayed in , the continental has been brilliant.
We obviously didn’t bother next morning , and went elsewhere.
I decided to call Customer Services before we checked out , as Reception was always busy & probably would have been told to ring them anyway !
Listed everything to them out about our experience, and was told I will get a response that day.
We came back from having our breakfast out , returned to our room to get our suitcases to check out, to find we had been locked out !
So off back in the very slow lift down to complain to Reception..
That just finished our experience off !
Arrived home to an email to say , “ as I hadn’t complained at Reception I wasn’t going get a part refund , but hope that our next experience at a Premier Inn will be much better “
It’s almost laughable …
I replied back by saying , “ I was very disappointed with their response and that we won’t be staying again at any Premier Inn…..I wonder why …. !

"Brilliant accessibility"
Moved to here after a nightmare experience at Travelodge Stratford Central with fire safety Evacuation, as Im a wheelchair user.
Physically distressed from the incident that happened. We came to this premier Inn as it was the nearest one. On arrival you go up in a lift to reception, we was greeted by the lovely Cynthia who was really upset to hear what had happened, She had arranged a complimentary breakfast for us, which definitely really helped after the nightmare we experienced. At breakfast a staff member helped me with anything I needed help with. She helped bring my drinks to the table for me. And then asked if there was anything else she could do to help, absolutely amazing level of service
They have three working lifts at this hotel, reception is actually on the 5th floor but in the lift it is the first floor. Every single staff member was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to help.
Only issue with this hotel was that the doors were difficult to navigate in a wheelchair as both doors had to be held open. Luckily I have my partner with me but had I been on my own I would have struggled. I was on the same floor as reception.
We had a accessible wet room, and the room we had was made accessible for someone who uses a hoist, there was one in the room available along with the track on the ceiling and a chair where you could put a hoist user in it and over the toilet or shower. I have never seen a a premier inn room that accessible, fortunately my disability isn't severe enough to need a hoist but it was amazing to see these facilities available.
Only thing they could improve on is the doors heading towards the rooms, otherwise, this is such a lovely hotel. The lifts are a bit shaky but they are fully functional.
