London Stratford hotel

Checked in promptly. Room good with a good view. Location Great. Easy access to DLR and trains. I have stayed here many times. The male manager on duty showed me how to use the new 'stashed' lockers at the Premier Inn Stratford (on 15 April). The instructions were not easy to follow first time - its OK when you know how! He was good: calm and patient. Many thanks.

My poor rating is for the overall management of Premier Inn and the lack of reception during the night when there is an issue. I am not complaining about the staff on this site ( they were nice) Our issue was unfortunately noisy guests in the room above us keeping us awake into the early hours, Fine you would think, phone reception and report the problem, except there is no on site telephone number for reception and when we rang a central reception 0300 number, we were given a recorded message to say it wasn’t available at that time I had to go two floors downstairs to report the issue. This was at 2.45am so not good and I believe this could be a safety concern for guests if there was anyone drunk etc lurking in the long deserted corridors at that time in the early hours. I felt quite vulnerable and silly in my dressing gown going downstairs Premier inn will not honour their so called “good night” promise as they say we should have reported our concerns earlier in the evening (obviously not on their non existent phone reception) and because they offered us a change of room at nearly 3am! I was trying not to disturb my daughter who had an interview the next day which was the whole point of travelling to London the day beforehand to make things easier. I was planning to stay at this hotel with friends for ABBA voyage soon, but won’t be returning

Excellent location for Stratford East Went to the opening of new V&A : a stroll away Very good value for money surprisingly quiet so good soundproofing from vibrant city noise!

We stayed at Premier Inn London Stratford in April 2026 as a group of friends and family, booking two rooms. One room was for four (two adults and two children) and the other for three. The rooms were conveniently located close to each other, which was very helpful. The hotel has a great location, with easy access to shops and transport, and the atmosphere at the bar was very pleasant. However, the room for four people was not suitable. The beds were placed wall to wall, leaving no space to get out of bed comfortably. We raised this issue immediately and were shown another room, but it had the same layout. We were told that larger rooms do exist, but they are not standard, which made the room we were given feel inadequate for four people. Additionally, when we first arrived, there was a strong drain smell coming from the bathroom, which affected the initial impression of the room, although it improved after using the bathroom. Housekeeping was not automatic, and we had to request the rooms to be cleaned. The tea and coffee facilities were only prepared for two people, despite there being three and four guests in the rooms. There was also no fridge or minibar available, which would have been useful for storing food and drinks. Overall, while the location is excellent, the room standards and facilities did not meet our expectations and made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Fairly standard clean Premier Inn good location for visit - Abba Voyage. Largely reliant on self-serve - on-line check-in etc; & busy++ due to local West Ham home game that evening which also created significant traffic restrictions when trying (as non local) to get to venue & know where to park. A booking warning would have helped with travel planning particularly as the Premier is located within an expansive shopping centre.
