"Excellent location"
Great location for our needs, spacious room, very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom and very attentive staff.
"Grotty, Dirty, Smelly"
It’s a bit of a dump, not the usual Premier Inn standard, if you arrive by car, Car Park A is the most convenient, don’t use the stairs as it’s used as a toilet by the locals. You enter the Premier inn on the ground floor and reception is on floor 1, there are 3 lifts and they are incredibly slow, expect a 4-5 min wait if it’s busy, not all the buttons in the lifts work, it’s a lottery if you can get to your floor. Check In is self service, fairly simple to do but the process of holding the key to a reader doesn’t always work first time, be prepared to go back to reception and find someone to do it again. The corridors smell bad and the carpets are badly stained, wall decor is dirty, stained and ripped, the soft close doors are loud, think about changing your room if you’re unlucky enough to get a room located next to one, unless you are a heavy sleeper. My room was laid out in a typical premier inn style, dirty and stained arm chair, I didn’t sit on it, come to think of it I wouldn’t of let my dog sleep on it! The glass cups looked like they had been cleaned in puddle water, chose not to look in the kettle, the room wasn’t cleaned properly, surfaces had been wiped but with a dirty cloth and consequently had dried with stains. TV remote control was broken, net curtains were dirty. Despite asking for my room to be cleaned at 7am it wasn’t… All in all a grotty, dirty and smelly Premier inn, I stay in quite a few Premier Inns but this one was worthy of review just to advise other travellers it isn’t of the usual standard.
"A really good place to stay."
Stayed whilst in London for Abba Voyage. It was all good with the exception of the automated check in which we did not like. Apart from that staff were really caring, considerate and friendly. Food was good with excellent service . Everything is very clean. The hotel has atmosphere. Please do change the check in to one were guests are greeted by a person - not machine.
"Need more staff"
Need a telephone in the room or a contact number you can phone on your mobileso you can contact reception if there is a problem rather than going down nine floors to report it and tripping on an uneven floor in the lift as it didn’t level with the corridor floor
"Brilliant stay"
After an awful stay at the Travel Lodge further down the road. We thought we would stay here. Really can’t fault this hotel. Bit of a mixed up with our room, but it was dealt with straight away. Rooms were nice and clean , plenty of clean towels tea coffee etc. Breakfast was very good lovely cooked breakfast. Guy called Bryan was really helpful and Friendly. Will be definitely staying here again on our next trip to London.
