"Helpful frontdesk"
Family of 3 checked in late evening and found that the agent wrongly booked a room for 2 adults, missing the kid. Fortunately Courtney from frontdesk with the manager tried hard and eventually found a room that can accomodate us. Not that easy in a fully booked night. Thanks a lot!
"Adequate."
We booked a premium room. It was a decent size with a comfortable bed, fridge and coffee machine. Some hangers but no drawers for clothes. It was a large double room but only one small and one large towel were provided between the two of us. Apparently this is hotel policy. We asked for more towels. The first “extras” offered were threadbare. Don’t get me started on the appalling “self service” check in machines. Making them bright pink does not make them any more user friendly. No one could make them work. A very kind barman was acting as receptionist. In fact, the staff were delightful. Common cause in the face of adversity? There are lockers in the “reception area” for luggage storage but they are too small for all but some shopping and a handbag. There is a luggage store - again wholly inadequate and all credit to the poor employee having to climb over bags. During our stay, the ceiling in our room started to sag and looked in danger of collapse. We informed the hotel who sent someone to take a photo and that was that. If you are placed in room 601, remember your hard hat. Very convenient for St Pancras.
"Great location, breakfast and comfortable."
Stayed here because it was central and was extremely happy with our choice. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. We added the daily breakfast to our booking and love our stay. Rooms were tidy, quiet and comfortable bed. Room wifi was hit and miss was the only disappointment. Many thanks.
"Good and Bad"
Check in was excellent the staff very friendly. Stayed in a Premier plus room and it was excellent. Large and spacious great shower and very comfortable. No to the issues. The cooked breakfast was very poor. Plates were cold and the food was barely warm. All in all a great hotel but improvements need to be made to the cooked breakfast.
"Great place for visit to London"
A clean hotel with the necessities you need and non if the extras. Good quality bed and bedding. No phone in the room. Check in with a self serve large touch screen but there were staff there to help. Check in only at 3pm or you pay extra. Restaurant on site for breakfast and supper. Good location for all transportation for city and also if coming in on train or Eurostar ( into St Pancras station which is only a 3-5 minute walk away) . Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Tom and Ahmed.
