"Good hotel in excellent location"
The hotel is nice and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is good, and food and drink service is available at the bar all day at a very reasonable price. The location is excellent, very well connected, close to major train and metro stations. The only negative thing was the Wi-Fi. The connection is very poor, and you have to pay to get a better one.
"Great Location for Eurostar and Good hotel"
Great location for early check into eurostar. Good rooms, bathrooms, comfy beds, self check in had enough terminals so good throughput. Would stay again.
"Nice break "
My husband and I stayed here for three nights for our anniversary. It's less than 3 minutes away from St Pancras railway station. We had an early check in and it took a bit longer as there only seemed to be one person at the desk. We had a premier plus room and the room was fantastic with a little fridge, a coffee machine and a lot more. We also had breakfast which we couldn't fault. Overall the hotel is situated near Euston station for the underground with Camden markets down the road, with Holborn and Bloomsbury around the corner.
"Location, bed and shower are the saving grace for this hotel"
Great location, comfortable bed, good shower and average buffet breakfast. The rest leaves alot to be desired. Not even a plastic tumbler in the bathroom to rinse mouth, one bath towel for 2 people. Self service check in experience ok but had to look for keycards to activate. Breakfast staff Janice seemed rushed off their feet and threw their hands in the air when I asked were there more pancakes coming and they also directed me to use large plates from the buffet for toast and the hotel doesnt have enough small plates (their words). Ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening about 630 and there were 2 tables there when I arrived and about 5 when I left. Only one member of floor staff who was doing their best. When our food arrived I ordered a 2nd glass of wine which didnt arrive. I asked again after we had finished eating and after 15 minutes more of waiting I got up to leave and when I was standing at the cash desk the staff member asked if anyone had brought the wine. I told him no and he apologised. I told him I would be making a complaint as he should not be trying to run the restaurant single handedly and he replied "please do". At one point I heard him in the kitchen saying "I am out here on my own and there are 3 of you in here". There were 2 staff behind the bar who could have helped out but didnt. I left disappointed.
"Breakfast service not good enough"
Perfect location for those arriving in London by train (Kings Cross) Rooms are becoming tired and basic (no fridge). Self-service check-in is ok for those digitally savvy. Breakfast services was a shambles - there was no crockery, coffee or sausages! Took 45 minutes from starting to queue to getting some food on our plates. Wouldn't offer a full refund for breakfast as we had eaten.
