"Best Premier Inn I have stayed in!"
I regularly stay at this hotel for both work and leisure, and have never had a problem! This is probably the best Premier Inn that I have stayed in within London without a doubt! Most of the staff recognise me as I have stayed here a lot!
The rooms are nice and spacious and have adequate storage space. The room and bathroom were spotless and incredibly clean.
There is excellent phone signal within the whole hotel, even on the lower ground floor), and the WI-FI is fantastic and speedy on the Ultimate service. The rooms are pricey for Premier Inn standards, however you are mostly paying for the Central London location.
The location of the hotel is perfect with only being a 2-minute walk to Southwark station, and a 5-10 minute walk to Waterloo. You can walk to the London Eye/South Bank within 20 minutes!
Plenty of supermarkets and coffee shops nearby such as Sainsbury's behind the hotel or on Blackfriars Road, Tesco next to the tube station, and Waitrose a 5 minute walk away.
If you are staying for leisure, I would certainly recommend as it is located very close to main areas within Central London, and it situated in an extremely quiet residential area. I was surprised how quiet it was being in the middle of Central London!
If staying for work, it is extremely well-connected to the tube where Bond Street and Canary Wharf are only 10 minute tube journey times.
Overall, a great stay!

"Just OK"
It was ok. Nice staff. I was put in a lower ground floor room (11) which looked pretty tired. The laminate on the side of the bath was coming off. When I had a shower, the water shot over the top of the shower curtain and soaked the whole bathroom & basin area, including my phone, which didn’t work for a few hours. There was a split in the pipe above the shower head.
I was moved to the 5th floor, which was better, although the tv, once turned on didn’t respond. Someone replaced the controller for me, it in the end it still didn’t function.
The rooms are definitely a lot more tired than the pics on the website.
I’m staying there again next week (pre booked), so I’m hoping for a smoother experience!

"Good family hotel"
Easy to get to from Southwark and Waterloo tube stations, although it doesn't have parking you don't need it in London. A really nice setting, amongst some residential properties.
The welcome team was excellent when we arrived and the rooms matched our needs, all staff were approachable with nothing too much trouble. It was Marathon weekend and the place was full, but not noticeable in terms of any long waits for the front desk or navigating around the hotel.
We ate in the restaurant and found the food good value, as we took advantage of the combo deal (evening meal, drink and breakfast). The food was good quality with enough of a range for all who came.
Breakfast was excellent value with plentiful food and non stop topping up of cereals, drinks and hot food.
Overall would come back again - great staff and lovely place to stay in London, a short walk away from London sights, or the tube to get elsewhere.

"Nice modern hotel in good location"
Modern, clean and quiet hotel in a great location, close to the centre and Tube stations, which made getting around very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful during the stay.
Facilities are quite basic, but perfectly fine if you do not want to overpay for accommodation and mainly need a comfortable place to sleep after a day out. Room size was good enough for a family of 4 for a 3–4 day weekend break.
Breakfast was okay, but a bit repetitive, mainly a combination of English breakfast and continental bread options every day. A bit more variety, especially some vegetables, salads, ham and cheese selection, would make it better.
Overall, very good value for money and a good option for a short city stay. Would stay again and would recommend.

"Ideal location"
Great location, tube station a 2-3 minute walk and on the jubilee line which was perfect as we were going to a gig at o2 so it was 4 stops away one way and 4 stops the other way is Westminster for some sightseeing. It was a 10 minute walk to borough market. Room spacious and comfy beds. Didn’t have time to eat in restaurant but looked really nice. No waiting about at Reception and could leave luggage on day of arrival as too early for check in and could leave it on checking out also. Nice area roundabout a few restaurants and pubs and a Tesco express which was handy. Would book here again when we come back
