London Richmond hotel

Having stayed in many Premier Inns around the UK and been generally satisfied with all of them this one in Richmond surpasses them all. It is perfectly located for regular bus travel to Richmond (3 mins travel time) and other trips such as Hampton Court, Kew Gardens, River Thames Boat Cruise to Westminster. Excellent Tube & Rail over ground links. Without a doubt the most impressive thing about our stay was the absolutely friendly and cheerfulness of all the staff who offered a ready smile all of the time such that you felt part of a family. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very informative with respect to where to visit and local transport arrangements. 'No worries/no trouble' were common phrases used. Do not be put off by my surname associated with this review as I am NOT a member of THE Whitbread family. You will NOT be disappointed with your stay if it is as good as ours!!

Great location. 10 minute stroll into centre and riverside. Rooms clean and staff attentive. Just a shame that every time we stay here when visiting family the prices keep going up.

Good location for visiting the national archives, Kew Gardens and Richmond. The outside of the hotel could do with the windows being washed but inside was clean and the staff especially Giovanna, were great. The Premier plus room was worth the upgrade. It was quiet, at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor. The room had a large walk-in shower with lovely baylis and harding products also the addition of a fridge and a nespesso machine made the stay enjoyable. I also went down to the restaurant as a solo traveller and was welcomed and I didn't feel conscious of being a solo traveller. Back to my room and a good night's sleep, even under the flight path. The only minor issue, we'll, not even an issue as such, is the option to have more that one pillow per person. I didn't check to see if that was possible. Not the cheapest premier inn that I have stayed at but would still recommend it.

Excellent location near restaurants, cafes and pubs. Walking distance to train and buses and beautiful walks along the river. Room is clean and comfortable.
