London Richmond hotel

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The service was awful - despite booking a premier plus room weeks ago, it took over 30 minutes and 3 attempts at getting me a room (including going up and down the lifts and along the corridors with multiple bags late at night) to get in to a room...well, at least one that wasn't already occupied by somebody else. Firstly the door battery of the room i was meant to be in apparently didn't work, then they couldn't check me into any room (allegedly a Premier Inn wide issue), then they check me into and gave me a working key to a room that turned out to already be occupied by a gentleman, which was incredibly unsettling, then in the end they checked me back into the room that allegedly had a broken door battery, but then miraculously worked. I raised concerns to the duty manager and he did nothing, saying he'd raise it with his manager the next day - nothing came back there either. The other annoying thing was that the aircon buzzed, so it was also a hot and fairly sleepless night. I used to use Premier Inn a lot as my choice of safety and comfort when travelling solo, but this is the 3rd poor experience in my last 4 stays - all this year.

I had booked a twin room for myself and another person two months in advance. On arrival only a double room with a small single sofabed was available. The second small bed had not been made ready. The staff member was very jokey on our arrival, pretending we had booked the room for three nights as opposed to just one night.

Stayed in the Premier room and really liked it. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good experience, will definitely come back to stay again and also will recommend to my friends.

TV did not work and despite reporting it twice on first day no one attended to fix it over our 3 night stay. Also very noisy with antisocial behaviour and door knocking in early hours. Persons running up and down corridors shouting and banging hard on doors including ours. Went on for about 3 hours until after 1 am on the Friday. Very noisy on the Saturday as well.

We stayed in the Premier In Richmond as we were down watching a family member run the London Marathon. Having previously stayed here before we pretty much well knew what to expect. Location is excellent, 10 min walk into Richmond centre/green. The staff are very helpful. we did not have dinner at the hotel but did have breakfast which was lovely and plentiful. Overall very happy with our stay.
