"Helpful staff"
The staff were really friendly. Armando helped me when I needed to get into the centre, advising me which bus to get and directions to the shop I wanted to get to. He couldn't help me enough and I was very grateful. He went over and above to help.

"It's not just a hotel."
The Richmond London Premier Inn is warm and friendly. It feels very much like a family hotel.
I think I have stayed in every different type of room. I have found all of them to be very comfortable and very well cleaned and stocked.
The rooms have all the facilities and space that I need. All the ones that I have stayed in have had a shower and some have had a bath too. The mattresses are excellent.
The jewel in the crown of the hotel is the excellent team-work, with all the players working together to help guests.
All are very good at anticipating needs. For example Nish reminds me to book a dinner time slot and then when I go to the restaurant later on Alex and Giovanna can, with their sunny dispositions, predict what I want for dinner.
Sneddon cheerfully and patiently helps me to stay in rooms with my favourite view. He and Nish have also kindly assisted with many other matters such as when I have left my door card in the room.
Daniela S is a hard-working house-keeper but still finds a moment to help me with a daily top up of little chocolate bars, bottled water and fancy tea bags (when I am staying in a Plus room). The housekeeping team are excellent all round. Natasha, Nav, Janki, John, Manasa and Sam are always very helpful.
Staff are adept at multitasking - so for example Bolly and Shane can be bringing me a green Thai curry one minute and then (when I am booked in a Plus room) providing me with codes for the faster internet. Giovana and Alex can bring me a Chocolate Sundae along with a new room card when I need one. Nish keeps things running smoothly like an orchestra conductor and then additionally gives good film tips.
Armondo is also a good source for film tips and expert level football punditry too. He really brings the restaurant to life at dinner time with his chuckling and a rich voice that could give Brian Blessed a run for his money. Bolly has a very good chuckle too and great quirky sense of humour.
I have witnessed both Daniela M and Natasha (“TFL”) giving solid advice to guests on local transport links in the course of their working day.
I very much enjoy the breakfast. There is a large buffet selection and other dishes can be cooked specially, such as eggs and porridge. Daniela M works extremely hard and ensures that guests know what is available and that they have a great breakfast and warmly wishes you a lovely day.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels and in some when something has run out on the buffet this does not get noticed by the team. The Richmond Premier Inn is one of the very best I have seen for staff pro-actively keeping things topped up.
Another breakfast star is Nav who is very cheery, helpful and industrious. Nav is also part of the excellent house-keeping crew too.
My favourite dinner choice is tomato soup, pizza or green curry and then the sticky toffee pudding with custard (which I just have occasionally as a treat).
The chef (Bizay I think) does a great job especially as there is such a very wide selection of very different dishes. I am very grateful for all the meals that he has made for me. Though I hope that chef does not mind me mentioning that Alex is, for me, the Queen of pizza.
The team are very on the ball at clearing away empty dishes and cleaning and setting up tables between guest sittings.
The Richmond Premier Inn can be a bustling hotel, for example when there are rugby games or events taking place. In quieter moments it is always good to have a chat with the team. Notable discussions have included; different celebrations for different faiths, international Pokémon card competitions, learning languages and overlapping words in languages around the world, Irish football teams, theatre design, being in MRI machines, martial arts, the limitations of robot vacuum cleaners, where to cook a pizza, good movies, what you can buy for 2p, swing doors in bars, ghosts, left-handed guitars and much more.
It is not just a hotel - it is an education!
It is said that a team member has taken on a new identity and that they actually have a lineage going back to ancient Welsh Royalty and should really be referred to as Princess Gwendoline.
I have also heard that another team member has hired a team of elves to spy on the training sessions of elite international Pokeman card players.

"Excellent experience"
We had an excellent experience at this Premier Inn. It was very comfortable, the room was very fresh and clean with a very comfortable bed, we appreciated the availability of the second pillows. The breakfast was good and the staff were extremely friendly and fun. Overall excellent value as we stayed on Sunday and Monday nights.

"Good location but breakfast was terrible"
Grear location, staff always available, bed was great but pillows not so good. Breakfast awful, had to wait for food to be put on the hot palte and then it was cold anyway.

"Comfy bed and amazing croissants!"
The staff were all very friendly. Dinner service was slow and food was ok, but I think you could get better elsewhere, depending upon your budget. Beds were super comfy. The croissants at breakfast were delicious. We stayed here and visited Kew Gardens which is an easy 10 minute walk away.
Would be good if Premier Inn could use wool duvets to match the quality of their mattresses.
