London New Southgate hotel

Building overall was nice... Can see it being updated or built upon didn't bother us too much. Room was plenty big enough and a/c was working despite recieving an email stating that it possibly wouldn't be. Staff were warm and welcoming. Bed was cosy. Only thing was the bathroom stank of urine and water damage was present around the bathroom

Very grubby and there was a horrible smell coming from the service room downstairs which drifted up through the stairwell. The carpet and runners on the stairwell was filthy and stunk! Dated and dirty. The room wasn't much better. The laminate from around the bed was peeling off or had come away and the bath panel was pushed back to reveal old flooring. The air conditioning didn't work in the room and it was told someone would take a look at it. Nothing happened. There was a fan already in the room, which you had to put on due to the sweltering heat but was too loud to sleep through. Terrible nights sleep and not up to the usual consistency you pay for with a Premier stay. Unfortunately, my pictures don't show how dirty it looked or the smell and heat!

This hotel is no nonsense brilliant! Spacious and clean air conditioned room with a sensible price. Very close to central london and especially Alexandra Palace if you’re planning on attending any events there. I can’t complain at all. Even the food and drink is really good value for money and of good quality. The staff are friendly and approachable for any potential queries. Thankyou. Paul

The hotel was immaculate, with good facilities and considering it was on a main road, very quiet. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly, going above what was expected. Highly recommend.
