London New Southgate hotel

Extremly hot Premier Inn, air conditioning just does not work. The receptionist was lovely and kindly gave me 3 rooms to loom at. None had woeking air con. We eventually gave up and she gave me 2 large fans!

I’ve stayed there recently and all the staff were really good One of the housekeeping team member Ritesh Helped with a problem in our room He was really kind and helpful We asked for few extra things those were also provided Lovely service Definitely visiting next time

In my room in particular, there were several problems that I did report to the front desk but to no avail. The water pipes near my bathroom made a loud shrieking noise whenever I turned on the shower or the tap at full power. My hairdryer was broken. My room did not get cleaned (this might've been my misunderstanding). All these issues, I reported to the front desk on the Saturday morning and coming back at night, none of these were addressed. Considering I've paid half the price for a Premier Inn that was twice the quality is shocking

This hotel location is ideal for people who intend to travel in all corners of London and beyond. For people who enjoy a vintage atmosphere, this is the right place for it. Some photos found online don't mach what I found inside the rooms. The hotel was full of kids on school break, but it was not too bad as they had their restaurant timetable and they didn't make too much noise in the night. Kitchen staff was helpful and patient. Same with the rest of the hotel staff . They are allways smiling and there for you. One thing though, while all of them knew my name, I didn't know any of theirs ,as no-one was wearing a name tag. I would recommend this place to others.

Good location hotel, just off the North Circular, triple glazing, so no traffic noise. Comfortable, clean room with comfortable queen size bed.
