"Very very enjoyable stay, highly recommend"
Can’t praise this Premier Inn highly enough. Comfort, cleanliness excellent, the staff in the restaurant very welcoming and the food was beautiful. When you’ve spent your day walking around Hampton Court and Kingston it was a pleasure to relax in the evening with a lovely meal and friendly people. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to in the future.
"Nice Hotel with flaws."
Room was spacious with a nice view and clean. The bathroom was clean and worked properly. The bed wasn't made correctly on the first night and I had to remake it, waking up tangled as they hadn't put the matress protector on correctly and it came off under the bottom sheet. The food at breakfast was horrible. Cold, rubbery and milky. When I got the much vaunted Vege option (after trying to find someone and waiting 7 minutes odd as there was only meat on display) it was horrid. There was plenty of room though. It's nice and close to the station. Would I stay again? Absolutely but I wouldn't, EVER have their breakfast again. Next time I'll get some pastries from the Aldi's below it. The staff were very good though, and kudos to them. The check in was nice and quick and there was plenty of extra coffee, milk and tea in the reception to take if needed. Also 2 vending machines.
"Poor cleanliness"
I frequently stay at a Premier Inn but this is definitely one to avoid. The bedding was stained, bathroom was dirty and the level of cleanliness was extremely poor. I contacted the receptionist who was apologetic informing me she would raise this with housekeeping. We returned from our day in London only to find the stained, dirty bedding had been reapplied! No cleaning of the bathroom had been attempted either! An extremely poor stay and very disappointed as this is not the normal standards of a Premier Inn.
"Just popped in for breakfast - wouldn't recommend it!"
We dropped in at the Kingston branch at just before nine on a weekday for breakfast. Actually, we thought that we might need to book, so we tried off and on *for two days* while waiting for the phone to be answered by ‘a friendly receptionist’. No-one answered. So, we turned up anyway, and it was all a bit sad.. The breakfast was, er, a bit tired – even before 09:00, it had all been sitting around for a while and although things were still warm, the fried eggs were borderline inedible. The spoons at our table were dirty, with old specks of food stuck to them, after trying and rejecting spoons on other tables we found some clean alternatives – completely unacceptable The walls were still showing old signs of the odd drink or food spill here and there – why? Oh, and one the way out we tried the disabled toilet – but it was locked. A dispiriting experience..
"Great stay, close to river"
Large room with a very comfortable bed, and very good facilities. The continental breakfast was excellent, and Abdol looked after us very well. Close to a great selection of restaurants looking over the river. Can thoroughly recommend staying here when doing sections of the Thames Path.
