"Money well spent"
We booked with 20 minutes notice having walked out of our original accommodation (another hotel). The room was pretty much ready when we arrived so we dropped our bags and went to the bar for a much needed drink.
We decided we would eat in the restaurant and opted for the meal deal which included 2 courses, a drink and breakfast the following day.
The evening meals were absolutely lovely and very generous in size too. Breakfast the following day was good, pancakes a little dry but the cooked brekkie made up for them.
The room itself was spacious enough for 2 people without feeling on top of each other. It was very clean and the bed was really comfy. The bathroom was also clean and everything in the room was in good condition and good working order. We were on the 4th floor, it was quiet and we weren't disturbed by other guests, we also couldn't hear any noise from outside either.
Location wise, it's a 2 minute walk from Earls Court station and there are plenty of places to grab something to eat if you didn't want to eat at the hotel. There is a Sainsbury's in close proximity too which was handy.
We came across a number of staff during our stay, all of whom were polite, friendly and attentive. Thank you for making our stay relaxing, we definitely wouldn't have had that if we hadn't left the initial accommodation!

"Enjoy London From This Hotel"
Easy to book. Great updates. Warm welcome. Fabulous location. Spotlessly clean bathroom and well appointed bedroom. Restaurant for dinner - good choice, nice food and great value for money. Comfortable bar and reasonably priced drinks. Smoking area out front on a nice street. Sadly, when I stripped the beds before we left, one of the duvets was horribly stained - I reported this via WhatsApp; no response. I've chosen not to upload photos of the duvet -I don't really like leaving negative reviews! Because of the duvet, I've only given 4 stars. Otherwise, it would have been 5 plus stars (if I could). I would however stay here again if in London.

"Not my favourite Premier Inn"
This hotel was fine for a place to sleep, but I didn’t feel I got my usual Premier Inn service or experience.
Upon arrival we went to reception where a less than enthusiastic member of staff was stood and who did not greet us. She also came across as though we were inconveniencing her. We asked if we could check in early (1 hour early) or store our suitcases so we could go out and got a huff in reply and a sharp “name?”, then silence, then “it’s £15 to check in now” to which we agreed to pay. We got our key, and went onto ‘the maze’! This hotel was a little confusing, we were on floor 5 in the other building so you have to go down a corridor, up to floor 2 via lift, then walk across the walkway to take you to another building, then get another lift up to your floor, and THEN find your room in the corridors there! That’s fine for me, but worth noting especially if you have any mobility issues then you’ll want to request a room in the main building.
Additionally, the hotel was quite dated and definitely feels due an refurbishment.
The room itself was fine - standard Premier Inn! My only gripe was that the shower was a waterfall head rather than detachable and as a girl who doesn’t wash her hair every day, it was a little tricky!! The other issue with the room was that the walls are thin and you can/will hear others in their rooms or in the corridor. Additionally, the wardrobe is built into the wall so if people don’t take their clothes off the hangers properly then the hangers slam into the wall which you will hear.
The other issues we had were:
1) the wifi - it was really bad. We had 2 bars of signal and it was really slow.
2) the tv - it was absolutely on it’s way out. There was a white line across the top of the screen when it was on, it would take 30-45 seconds to change channels or turn up the volume, and it would take around a minute to turn off! (it would go mute, then freeze, then the screen eventually fades out)
3) not really the staffs fault, but we did have a man try to get into our room at 3am (trying the handle and banging on the door). We called reception who said they would send someone up, which they did as we heard the encounter, but we didn’t get any follow up from them until the next morning when we enquired what happened and the member of staff was very apologetic about the situation (apparently it was a drunk man who thought our room was his). Like I say, not the hotels fault at all but it felt odd to have no follow up from staff at the time, as when it happens you do feel unsafe and scared. To their credit, it didn’t happen again.
Location wise, hotel is fab! It’s so close to the tube and also close and in walking distance to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, and Hyde Park. There are lots of cafes/shops/restaurants around the nearby area too.
Overall, I would rate this stay as a 3/5. Would I stay again? I would but only if I needed to be in this area or other Premier Inn’s were not available.
