"Not good for a family room"
The room was awful. We was ment to have a family room, for 4people and 1 baby, we had a double bed, and two singles, but there was no room at all in-between the beds so we couldn't walk down the sides of the beds. All the beds were literally touching in a row. The baby's cot had no mattress in it so they just placed a blanket at the bottom of it. Thankfully I brought my basinet with me as it wasn't fit for a baby to sleep in. The bathroom was dirty with stains around the toilet and their was only two glasses in the room with enough for one cup of tea or coffee. Very disappointed in the stay for the price we paid. We was only their for a trip to GOSH, and was hoping it would be OK as we have lots of upcoming appointments.
"Great location"
Beds were comfy but wouldve preferred 2 twins for me and my grown son. AC was a plus. Shower pressure was adequate. Short walk to bus, tube, food.
"The worst Premier Inn"
Our whole experience with this hotel was terrible. First of all, the hotel is need of a serious refurbishment, dirty marks on the walls, paint chipped off skirting boards, stains all over the chair, just felt really shabby. The hotel door lock didn’t work, the security card feature in lift didn’t work and there was rarely any staff at reception, so it didn’t feel safe / secure either. We requested our room to be cleaned on the first morning as it wasn’t overly clean when we arrived, dust & dirty marks on the mirror, fluff on the bathroom floor but nobody came to clean it Visited reception 3 different times on 1 day, to try get fresh towels with no luck. Staff don’t come out when you ring the bell & don’t answer the hotel phone number. When I eventually spoke to a member of staff at 10pm, they offered no apology and only gave excuses as to why our room wasn’t clean. Assured us it would be cleaned next day between 3-5pm while we were out. The next morning at 9am, cleaner woke us up as they knocked on the door and almost let themselves in (as the door didn't lock). I had heard the same situation occurring with the room next door the morning before so seems to be zero communication between reception & cleaning staff. Also, the free wifi doesn’t work at all. You have to pay each day for ‘premium wifi’ I have stayed in lots of Premier Inns before and never had any issues, but this hotel is way below their standard. It’s grubby and the staff we encountered were not helpful. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
"Fairly average stay for the price"
The hotel is well located and the staff, when you see them, are friendly. I arrived just before the 3pm check in and there was already a queue and no-one at reception. Just about every time I passed through reception there was a queue and with either no staff or just one, The exception was when returning late in the evening. Comfy bed as you'd expect, but the room is overdue a make-over. Peeling paint in the bathroom, worn carpet and the air con needs a service as it was noisy. There's a kettle, some tea & coffee, hanging space and a desk For this money, it would be good to see at least one of a room safe or small fridge. I thought providing just one set of (thin) towels was mean given that they charge per room.
"Great and comfortable stay."
We were a big group booking and we had a few mishaps at the beginning but was all sorted straight away. The duty manager Sameera was very professional and quick on emails even on her day off she dealt with us, she was very helpful. Check in was smooth and the room was supper clean. Breakfast was absolute delicious. A queue of people checking out but overall a great stay.
