"The location is good and the shower was decent... But sadly that's where it ends"
We've booked a 2 x room 3 night stay for my daughter's 18th birthday with my wife and I in room 322 with my adult children in the room next door at 320. From the outset we've experienced issues in both rooms. Constant issues with air con where it wouldn't work in either room for long periods especially overnight. The first night was so bad night we all felt so dydrated and sick and it was unbearable.. We reported this to the staff and management and there were a number of other people in other complaining also as I spoke to them in reception. In addition to the air con not working there was constant noise from fans overnigh throughout the stay. The electrical points came out of the wall and didn't work in our room and the TV didn't face the the bed and faces an empty space in the room and didn't work properly. We were staying three nights and asked for a room clean and change of towels. First day was the only day cleaned and we didn't get another. We had to use wet towels as there's no warm towel rail. The final night was by far the worst. Constant noise of water moving between our room 322 and 320 which kept both us and our kids up in each room. It was like water was passing through our room and theirs too which kept me and my kids awake nearly all night. I've managed to record a video of it and have my daughter's text messages confirming this. We all feel totally exhausted!! The hotel doesn't seem to meet premier inn standards and needs major refurbishment. The bar and restaurant are down in the basement of the the building with no windows so with beading in mind. We won't be going back to this premier Inn sadly
"Great service from Leon on reception"
I arrived too early to check in and was happy to leave my luggage in with the hotel advising that I would be checking in around midnight. Leon overheard this and found me a room immediately to avoid a late check in for me. Great service
"Zelda"
Very good place to stay Holborn Premier Inn, e3asy to get to london and tube stations. A couple of nice parks to sit in overall lovely stay
"Great Value, Good Location."
My sister and I stayed here while I visited from Australia. We found it to be a great location for the things we wanted to do. We are happy to walk and enjoyed seeing a different part of London. This was my first time in a premier Inn my sister stays in them all the time. I was really impressed. Yes they are basic but it was very clean, we had two lovely comfy clean beds with extra pillows, very clean bathroom again with lovely white towells. We had breakfast which was great value, the staff were lovely both on Reception and the cafe I really cant fault it and would definately stay there again.
"Despite some issues, we liked it a lot."
Booked Premier Plus room - very spacious - bed, as always in Premier Inn, was very comfortable although hot under duvet. AC couldn't chill lower than 19C. Bathroom clean with bath but no grab handles. Designer armchair in bedroom and in lobby - very uncomfortable. Desk / fridge cupboard were very flatpack build and showed real signs of age. Breakfast warm not hot but very tasty. Restaurant / Bar area has a 60s feel to it (and a fruit fly infestation although contractor was coming in to tackle that (also found same problem in a prestige London restaurant in Piccadilly - symptom of long hot summer?). Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, but not enough of them. Great location. Would we go back - probably!
