"Great and comfortable stay."
We were a big group booking and we had a few mishaps at the beginning but was all sorted straight away. The duty manager Sameera was very professional and quick on emails even on her day off she dealt with us, she was very helpful. Check in was smooth and the room was supper clean. Breakfast was absolute delicious. A queue of people checking out but overall a great stay.
"The staff are so kind!"
The front desk staff (multiple) and manager (Farzana) went above and beyond to help me with some travel logistics during my stay. The hotel is perfectly suitable but the people working there make it excellent.
"6 Nights in London"
Researched affordable hotels in London extensively and found many iffy reviews for Premier Inns. This Holborn site was better than I expected. The room was clean, the towels and bedding were very nice and there was plentiful access to coffee supplies in the room and in the lobby. Wish we had had a mini-fridge to keep water cold and store fruit, cheese, etc. Rooms are small, but expected that in London. The location is a short walk from the Piccadilly Line that brings you in from Heathrow, food stores, bus stops and decent restaurants. Staff was very helpful and only a short "buzz" away.
"An ok place to stay in London"
The place itself is very strategically located where you can easily go around London. We didn’t like the key card problem as it was 90 % not working and need to keep coming down to reception to renew it. The wifi is terrible. The breakfast food is great. We wished that the family room should have a fridge in it..
"Street level room not great for an all female family"
I booked here because this was the most affordable option for a centrally based London hotel with reasonable reviews when booking only a week in advance. Whilst the location was pretty good, the room itself was disappointing due to the room being on ground level and right on the street. The lack of privacy meant we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time we were in the room, which made it dingy. As we arrived at 9pm there were no staff here to request a room change. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was extra but good. Whilst you could alter the room temp, it wasn’t possible to really have much impact and it was quite cold air con, which wasn’t too much of an issue for us as it was a heatwave and over 30 degrees every day. I would ask for a room change next time once staff were on site the next day.
