"In need of refurbishment"
Pros - Location great, to an extent staff though they were hit and miss. Ample parking and at a very reasonable price. Lift easy access and quick. Staff quick to come to reception when bell pressed.
Cons - Room very small, bad smell, bathroom full of damp especially around the bath, did not sleep well due to bed being very hard which was a surprise as we have the premier inn mattress at home. Room too warm even with aircon as it kept turning itself off. Reported but nothing done. Only one sachet of sugar on arrival. Hallway lightbulb not working. Room in need of general refurbishment. Requested breakfast upon check in but told to just book on the day, was very busy so chose not to have breakfast in the end (would have paid at check in so missed out on the money there, cuz the member of staff couldn’t be bothered), problems raised but nothing done so have raised a good night guarantee due to how bad we slept both nights. Used the pillow in the bed and the extra ones, but no support at all - they need replacing as again we have premier inn pillows at home and don’t have they issue usually. Staff just made us feel like we were an inconvenience when we were asking for support.

"Fab stay. We will be back."
We had the best stay! We booked a premier inn as a base and they’re fab value for money and you know what you’re getting too.
We were not disappointed at all. The location was fab for the train and also had an Asda nearby too.
The area of the hotel felt pretty safe too. We found the staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed our conversations with them. Thank you to the gent who insisted on cleaning up the floor when he saw me picking up the food off my baby - it was a nice gesture and he was really polite. The dust pan did do a better job than my napkins though!
Our 6 year old and 8 month old girls were made to feel special with lots of attention.
We got lucky with the room I think - it was a lovely spacious room with plenty of room for the double bed, two singles and our own travel cot and pushchair! We didn’t really hear any noise from the rooms around us. We found the room and hotel to be clean. We witnessed one staff member checking the area outside the hotel was clean and a little sweeping brush for a bit of mess on the floor.
The kids eat free for summer was a fab meal meaning we only had to pay around £28 per adult for a 2 course meal with drink and breakfast the next day and got a child free for dinner and breakfast too.
Parking was around £8.70 per night. We did not find this a bad price compared to other hotels locally.
Next time we are in London, this will be our go to.
Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay so lovely. Nothing seemed too much trouble from young to older and we were really grateful of this.
