London Hammersmith (Talgarth Road) hotel

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great for solo travellers was clean and very accessible to the train and bus stations and many stores around.

My stay at the premier inn, Hammersmith was good. I like the room, it was clean, modern and quiet. I particularly liked the lounge where I could relax and chill. Breakfasts were pretty good. However I have never stayed in a hotel or motel without a fridge. This was rather inconvenient as it would be nice to purchase basic food and keep it cool.

There is no warning that the rooms are adjacent to tube tracks. I’m from Yorkshire so don’t know the area. I paid £160 for a room that I couldn’t sleep in as the trains ran every 2 minutes- I was told that they finished at 10pm, they ran through the night. We did asked to be moved but the only other available rooms were also next to the tracks. Unfortunately my youngest son became ill while we were away and he couldn’t sleep due to the noise throughout the night. As a regular user of Premier Inns I was extremely disappointed by their response- basically they don’t really promise a good night’s guarantee, just a good slogan. We paid for 2 rooms at this hotel costing in excess of £300 - I wouldn’t book again and I’m likely to switch to another hotel brand following their disregard for loyal customers.

Very efficient self check in within minutes, secure card key access to lifts and floors, quiet and clean rooms, fantastic sleep and beds.

Excellent location close to Hammersmith tube and The Apollo. Friendly and helpful check in experience, decent sized room, lovely breakfast
