"The first and only time I've ever experienced a problem at a Premier Inn"
My friend had booked a twin room for us the night before and after our Wimbledon visit (ideal location for this) with breakfast the next morning and the meal deal for the following evening/morning after. We duly arrived very hot and tired after GWR was late (as usual) and the District Line was down. Luckily Hammersmith is served by a variety of underground lines. Reception were smiley & pleasant but insisted we had only one breakfast and meal deal booked. My friend said no, there were two of us and she'd booked two lots. It was pay on arrival as we'd done the full cancellation offer. She showed her confirmation email from PI stating what she had booked (two of everything) but they really didn't look at it, and kept insisting the computer only showed one. Help was sent for. Many buttons were pressed, the museum that we'd booked to visit was going to close shortly ... On the verge of uttering the immortal words "perhaps we could speak to your supervisor/manager", the two young girls (English not a first language, certainly in one case) suddenly announced the meal deal/breakfast had gone up by £1 each per meal. Fine, we said, but if we'd paid on booking, presumably we would have got it at the old price. They then triumphantly produced a print out for payment for £40 plus more than the price on the confirmation email. Further discussion ensued. Eventually they managed it and produced a room key. I asked for 2 as there were two of us. No information proffered, as they were thoroughly flustered. I emphasise we were both scrupulously polite, merely insistent that they looked at their own organisation's email. Every meal we presented ourselves for, it still didn't show, but the copious further confirmation emails that had been sent were proof enough. A training point here, I think. But the hotel was smartly done up, room was fine, meals in the large dining room pleasant and efficiently served and it was ideally located for Wimbledon. (Happily the District Line was up and running the day we went).

"Safe for solo older female"
I had originally booked Putney Bridge because it was near to Wimbledon but was told last minute that this was closing down. They wanted to rebook me into Clapham but I asked for this hotel instead and I'm really glad that I did.
I'm 71 and I was on my own on the Friday, being joined by my son, in a nearby room, on the Saturday. I felt totally comfortable by myself in the hotel and the area.
The hotel was an easy 5 minute walk from Barons Court, a really nice quiet station, and very easy to find. It's basically on the same road and even on the same side. It felt really safe, even when I returned from the theatre at 11pm on the Friday night.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff were really helpful. I left my bag at 2pm, went for a coffee at Gail's and then returned to check in at 3pm. A special mention to Jomaya and Mathias who were great.
The room had everything I wanted. Modern shower, full length mirror with light and make up mirror with light. The hairdryer was also good, which is pretty unusual in hotels. The bathroom had good quality hand and body wash and lovely new, thick towels.
Best of all was the brilliant air conditioning. I hardly ever sleep well in hotels because they're always too hot, but I slept really well on both nights. There was no noise at all. I was room 250.
When we returned from Wimbledon on the Saturday night we had a drink in the bar, there was a nice atmosphere and a pint of lager and a glass of wine were only £10!
We didn't have breakfast. We went to a cafe called Truth in Hammersmith, just opposite the station and about three minutes walk from the hotel.
I would definitely stay here again when in London. I've stayed twice at the Holiday Inn Express in Hammersmith but this is quite a lot cheaper and of comparable quality.

"Great location for our trip to Wimbledon!"
The Talgarth Road Premier Inn is only 5 minutes walk from Hammersmith station. Our room was spotless and all the staff were helpful. This is the second time we have stayed here when in London for Wimbledon and we wouldn’t hesitate to return again in the future.

"One point to the greatest"
I went in May to visit the city... the hotel is very good in general. The location is one minute walk to the Bus Station and Tube(metro underground), the area was secure but always looking. The atmosphere is was nice and the employees midle east were wery nice people but like everu were was and exception to the rule :) . price value is good. Rooms with space and comfortable without noise...
UNFORTUNATELY we couldnt have a good Vinho verde neither a good wine from Douro region or a TEN Y.O. Port Wine, wich for a person who lives in Guimarães north of Portugal we apreciate a lot those drinks if carefully chosen
All the rest GREAT
See you soon ( i hope )
