"Could do better"
The first room I was given had a bathroom in a poor state of repair with a soiled towel in the bath. The second room was fine. I would award the hotel 5 stars for the second room, but there should have been a check of the bathroom before the keys were released for the first room. The staff member was efficient, but it was quite late at night when I checked in so I couldn't speak with a more senior manager. The restaurant was closed the next morning so presumably there was a major issue with the services in the hotel.
"Another great stay at Premier Inn Greenwich."
My wife and I have stayed at Greenwich Premier Inn since it first opened and have never had a negative experience. This stay was no exception. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great, with a choice of food to suit all tastes. We ate in the hotel in the evenings and really enjoyed our meals. There's a good choice of options on the menu and the food is great value compared to the pub meals available in the centre of Greenwich. As in all the Premier Inn's we've stayed in, the staff are extremely professional and helpful and friendly at the same time. A particular mention to Nikolai who went out of his way to make our stay a pleasant one.
"Nasty, uncomfortable, and unwelcoming,"
My partner and I stayed here for a week and I wanted to leave the second day there, but we had already paid. The room we were staying in had significant stains in the carpet, including one that seemed to be a blood stain. The breakfast was appalling. We paid over thirty pounds for breakfast for two just to not be able to eat anything. The juices were empty, the food was sparse, what food was available was burnt, soggy, or stale at 8am. There were flies swarming the buffet, I don’t believe it is even up to health code. The wifi was dodgey. We paid extra money each day for the ultimate wifi, what a scam. The wifi was inconsistent, so much so every time I opened my phone it was disconnected. Peter was an absolute delight, the only thing enjoyable about our stay was his impeccable customer service. The rest of the staff was quite rude and dismissive with any request we had. I didn’t get their names because conveniently their badges were hidden. We requested cleanings of the room multiple time even at specific times, we only got one cleaning and was three hour past the time we specifically requested. For the price we paid I was expecting a clean room and basic service I know I was booked at a five star establishment but this was worse than that of a hostel. Price gauging is a polite way to say what happened here. We had no access to a fridge even though in my booking it said we would. When we asked staff we were dismissed. I was told we couldn’t get a glass of water and the lady even waved her arms rudely at me from the bar making me come to her when requesting a cup of ice… They couldn’t be bothered and shouldn’t be in customer service. Save your money and book elsewhere the only good thing here is the air con and Peter.
"Great family room for the £"
Good sized family room. Clean and quiet. Parking convenient next door. Handy for visiting Cutty Sark and Greenwich pier.
"Enjoyable stay"
Good value for money in London. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good and the pizza we had in our room was tasty. Very accessible to Greenwich sights plus where we were going ie Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Horizon 22.
