"Decent stay in a slightly tired-feeling hotel"
On arrival we were pleased to be upgraded to a Premier Plus room which included free ultimate Wifi, a fridge and complimentary chilled water. Check in was easy via the self-service kiosks. We did find we only had one person's worth of towels but we mentioned to reception and plenty of towels were then delivered while we were out of the room.
The room was a good size, though only one tall narrow window, and of course the bed was as comfy as you'd expect for a Premier Inn (that is a positive, as I've always found their mattresses extremely comfortable!). There was evidence of a previous water leak through from the floor above as the ceiling showed water stains, which should really have been painted over, and the rainfall shower was in desperate need of a descale as it was sending spray everywhere, but as we were only there for one night it was perfectly adequate.
Breakfast in the morning was very loud and chaotic, but the hot buffet and pastries were good. I love the late checkout of midday as it means you don't feel rushed to eat and leave. It really makes a big difference.
Overall a decent stay in a slightly tired-feeling hotel.

"Mixed experiences"
Stayed two nights for a conference nearby. Perfect location especially to one who travels through City Airport, just around the corner from the DRL-Elizabeth line connection. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast - would be even better with cheese to put on toast. No issue with the cleanliness or quietness of the room itself. On the second morning unfortunately noticed a bug walking on the bedlinen upon waking up. Had been feeding with blood on squeezing. On close examination then found one discarded skin in the bathroom. Reported to staff who promised prompt attention.

"Lack of service and welcome made for a disappointing stay"
The welcome was minimal and there were several disappointing aspects during our stay.
The room was comfortable and quiet enough. We were staying two nights for a city break and theatre visit but when we returned after our day out on the second day the rooms had not serviced at all. The beds were left unmade, the room had not been cleaned, nor towels replaced, and used cups remained unwashed. For a city break of more than one day this was very disappointing. Nor were there new tea bags or milk cartons provided. On mentioning these shortcomings as we departed we were told that we should have told Reception that we would have liked our rooms serviced!!!
I have never experienced this before in any other hotel and I have always thought this type of service was a give standard. One reason given was COVID. That was six years ago!!!
I doubt whether I shall stay at a PREMIER HOTEL again - certainly not for a stay exceeding one night…

"Victoria shone!"
Great location for my reason of being in london...Hotel itself was good clean tidy suffient rooms food was of good quality and drinks range pretty good ..but staff were the exceptional particularly Victoria who worked in the bar restaurant ...she could teach quite a few people some things when it come to how to deliver great customer service. Well done Victoria!

"Recommended"
Stayed for one night for a hospital visit. Very good location with St Paul’s, shopping centre and the Tate modern within a short walk.
Hotel was clean and very comfortable, very quiet at night and I had the best sleep!
Restaurant was welcoming, dinner was ok, nothing to rave about. Breakfast however was great with plenty of options.
Staff all very welcoming and friendly.
