I had an astute visits here. Quite the experience. . Larisa at the restaurant was such a delight

"Nope. Unless you’d like to roast all night."
Hot and in need of a deep clean and refurb.
First room on the 2nd floor was roasting and smelt weird - despite air blowing from vents noisily. No opening windows. So I asked to move and was told the hotel has no aircon and only some windows open. Room on the 3rd floor had windows that open a few inches but triple glazing blocks the draft.
Room fan was damaged so crunched when it oscillated, essentially meaning I had to keep it still to avoid the noise.
10pm and still over 28° in the room. There was a duvet on the bed. Would have been better with a sheet.
I can’t believe they think it’s okay to charge almost £300 a night for a tired, boiling hot room. Grim.
Good location so that’s the only saving grace. Otherwise - find somewhere else to stay.
Booked through work and unlike some of the other reviewers, I received no comms that the aircon didn’t work.

"Friendly Staff - good facilities and food"
We stayed at for here for a few days and it was a genuinely great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the location made it easy to get around.
What really made our stay stand out was Larisa at the front desk. She was attentive from the moment we checked in, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and answering all our questions with patience and a genuine smile. When [a specific need arose, e.g., we needed a late checkout / recommendations for dinner], she handled it quickly and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking. That kind of attentive, personal service is rare and it made a real difference to our trip.
The whole team was friendly, but Larisa in particular deserves recognition, her warmth and professionalism turned a good stay into a memorable one. We'll definitely be back, and we hope to see her there again.
Highly recommend this hotel, especially if Larisa is on shift!

"Disappointed"
I stayed 3 nights at the Premier Inn Euston and it was just a few minutes easy walk from Kings Cross station. Room , food and friendly staff were exactly as I expected. 2 things let it down for me. The shower above the bath had no grab rail and was incredibly difficult to get out of. It's the highest bath I have ever encountered, and with a very slim edge to the bath , it was not safe to sit on the bath side to get out. I will definitely ask for a disabled room from now on because of this. The second thing was the air conditioning or lack of it. After booking but before my visit I got an email to say the air-conditioning was unavailable but they were working hard to get this fixed. When I arrived 14 days later we were in the middle of a heat wave and the aircon was not working but a fan had been placed my room. I asked at reception each morning and got 3 different replies. Firstly I was told that most rooms air con was fixed and they would send an engineer to check. When I returned later in the day the aircon was blowing but not reducing the room temperature. The second day I was told that the hotel didn't have aircon but an air cooling system which did not work well because the air being drawn in was so warm. The third day I was told that the hotel does not advertise air conditioning. Unfortunately, I do not plan to use this hotel again.
