"What we expect from Premier Inn"
Excellent service in the restaurant, coping with a large volume of guests. We ate in Thyme three nights and enjoyed very good food, both starters and main courses. Breakfast as usual at Premier Inn was excellent - especially the porridge, which PI must make to a fixed recipe as it is consistently just right for us across all the Premier Inns we stay in. Staff were helpful and considerate throughout.
"Great location. Needs air con desperately."
Excellent location but the rooms are old and in desperate need of air conditioning. The room was incredibly hot. The fan provided was not sufficient.
      "Overpriced and poor service"
The room was sweltering. The air conditioning didn't work, so my bedroom was like a sauna. I didn't sleep at all. Also the check-in process was painful; none of the kiosks were working, so there was only one member of staff checking in a massive queue of people. The Premier Inn is meant to be a basic hotel - no frills, not fancy; it's literally a place to sleep when you come back from being out all day. So why is it now SO expensive to stay here? A one-night stay is about £200! It's outrageous
      "Avoid this money trap"
Choose anywhere but here.No air-con, and the corridors are actually cooler than your room.Annoyingly, reception area is kept very cool and there is a system installed, so it is just a case of Prem Inn not giving a damn. This must be the most expensive room in London with no air-con. Road outside is one of the busiest-and also an emergency services main route, so loud sirens all night. At busy breakfast, 2/3 coffee machines out of order. "Manager" was lounging at a table in shorts and t-shirt with his bare feet on a chair, and the usual excuses about staff shortage and head office given, but he appeared to not give a hoot.
"A great base for exploring Culture and Creativity in London"
The staff are very friendly and were helpful throughout our stay during one of the hottest weekends of the summer.A genuine welcome for everyone.
