"Average Premier Inn experience, others have been better"
Check in was very slow. Early check in procedures need to be reviewed, tried to contact the hotel several times by email and phone to request an early check in, neither were answered. Not able to request at the time of booking or on line at a later date. It wasn't available when we arrived early either.

"Poor Customer Service"
I booked 6 months out to stay for 8 nights. I have stayed here before with good experience and so returned. This time was awful. I asked for a quiet room but on checking in found they hadn't allocated a room. The person checking me in searched their PC screen for options but in the end I was given Room 7 on the ground floor. Immediately outside the Room 7 window was heavy traffic on busy Euston Road. Every morning around 5am I was woken by traffic and the rumbling of underground trains. I twice asked for a room change but no help was provided. The bathroom had a strong musty or mouldy smell and was poorly ventilated. The only good thing about this stay was the breakfast. Won't be staying here again. Poor service and no customer care.

"DONT"
First of all checking in was a nightmare hottest day of the year one person on reception rubbish attitude apparently she was on her own due to staff sickness queued for an hour not apologetic at all she really could not be bothered I wish I’d have read the reviews before I booked NO AIRCON! Absolutely sweat box fan didn’t work 1 towel in the room why? Weird! Went to reception clueless gormless receptionist who got the manager who was the rudest person I’d ever spoken to and told me to go to each floor and look in the customer service cupboard for a fan rubbish breakfast £25 stayed in these before but never will again worst staff ever and I never never say that!!!

"Avoid in the summer"
AC was non-functional. It was not possible to use the AC to reduce the temperature in the room. A fan had been provided but it was noisy and provided marginal benefit

"Sauna stay"
My husband is having cancer treatment at the uclh. The hotel is well situated close to the train station and an easy walk to the hospital. We traveled from Kent on the 30/6 ready for his treatment to start 8am on the 1/7 the next day. We purchased the meal deal for our stay. The evening meal was very very nice well cooked and tasty. Service staff friendly and approachable.
Unfortunately London was experiencing a heatwave and there is confusion around the advertising of air conditioning. The hotel its self was cool but the rooms were unbearable. Our rooms temperature was 31.5 degrees the whole night. The cooling system on the wall did not work and the small desk fan was not fit for purpose. There was no ventilation even with the window open. My husband and I spent the whole night awake and the heat was making him feel nauseous and unwell. He presented at the hospital the following day exhausted not a great way to start intensive chemotherapy. Another downside was there was no hot water at all I suppose it was a way of trying to cool down but not for a proper shower and hair wash, please please make it clear that you either have air conditioning in the rooms or not ? As we couldn’t work out if the system was broken? Or the hotel just didn’t have it in the rooms anyway ? For £250 we would have been better to sleep in the hotel foyer which we were considering when my husband felt poorly.
