"Really bad"
Location is good. Close to London with out paying London prices.
However. Having stayed in many premier inns this is the worst one.
Yes it is what it is BUT the noise you hear from every room around you is unbearable. Upstairs was like someone in riverdance waking us up multiple times, tvs both sides blaring out. We have come up from cornwall for a mini honey moon and my 50th birthday. Both my husband and I spent 2 nights having to wear headphone and not talk for most of the evening. We asked to be moved to a quieter room but none of the staff bothered to help us they just said "they don't want to upset other people" but were happy for us to be upset. They also only gave 1 towel for 2 adults had to chase that aswell. And the towels smelt funny. We also brought a couple of beers was told by bar staff the room had a bottle opener! NOPE! The room was clean and ok. And bed was comfortable (hence the 2 star rating)
Massively disappointed đ

"A pleasant stay"
Stayed for one night while working in the area.
Parking is chargeable (ÂŁ17 for overnight).
Self check in using the machines.
My room was facing the back and very quiet, i didn't hear any external noise.
The room was clean and comfortable, temperature of the room was good.
I slept very well.
I opted for the meal deal.
My evening meal was nice. Breakfast was OK.
I was the first person in for breakfast at 6.30am, the baked beans were luke warm at best. The rest of the breakfast was hot.
Would I stay there again? Probably. This wasn't my first stay at this hotel.

"OK. Good value but some serious issues."
Pros - comfortable bed, big TV, large cups, decent sized room, usual Premier Inn breakfast, low cost, especially for London, mattress protector, little noise from busy road outside except for police sirens at 2am.
Cons - no USB sockets, no glasses in main room or bathroom, no pillow protectors (serious hygiene issue), air con turns itself off and room goes cold (serious), no food or drink after 9:30pm and nothing obvious in easy walk, highly impersonal self-check in and impatient staff if you have queries (serious), bathroom fan noise for ages after light turned off, feeble water pressure (serious), lots of dusty surfaces.
Overall: didn't pay much and didn't get much. Would I stay again? I can bring a glass from home and eat before checking in, but I can't sort out pillow protectors and that's a borderline red line because of the hygiene point. Maybe but probably not if there's a better alternative.
