      "It was OK...."
The bed was very comfortable and clean. The room was superficially clean but very worn. The towels smelt musty - I wish I'd have taken my own. The general areas (corridors and stairs) were thick with dust, and the carpets were not clean, and there was a lot of debris. The lift wasn't working, neither was the self check in. The breakfast was good, and the check-out process was easy. The car park was a decent enough size, and I found a space easily underneath CCTV which was reassuring. The air con in the room was a welcome addition, as in the booking it said the windows didn't open (but they did). An OK stay but nothing like how it's advertised on the TV.
      "Shocking decline avoid this hotel"
After 30 years of using Premier Inns, this was by far the worst stay I've ever had. I paid £270 for two nights plus £34 for parking — despite being disabled. The room was filthy: stained chair, grimy bathroom, and poor maintenance throughout. The lift was broken (a major issue with mobility), the window didn’t open, the water pressure was terrible, and the air con was stuck at 19°C. Photos attached speak for themselves. I expected better — Premier Inn should be ashamed of the condition of this hotel.
      "Premier inn stay"
Great stay just needed somewhere to chill for a few nights. Clean room, comfy bed and great breakfast. Lots of shops near by, restaurants supermarkets and takeaway spots. Breakfast was decent too and quite varied. Staff allowed me to move room when the HDMI cable would not work. They were so short staffed so wait time were a little prolonged but the service was positive and did not reflect this.
"Expect better of a premier inn"
Lift not working which wasn't a issue but stairs up to room dirty and banister and wallpaper chipped or ripped didn't improve in room with only one plug socket and usb port not working so cudnt charge phone again a mirror in bathroom chipped ..
      "Overall, just convenient and ok"
When we made our telephone booking to stay at the hotel we requested 2 rooms next to each other. When we arrived at the hotel they put my son on the 1st floor, and then tried to put us on the 3rd floor stating they didn't have the availability, until I complained. Then they put us on the 1st floor, but not near my son. The express checkout was broken, they struggled to get the room key cards to work. People were complaining that they couldn't get into their rooms. It took several cards until the computer accepted our room number. The lift was broken. breakfast was chaotic, with many people complaining, due to lack of seats, cutlery and food. The hotel just looks old and worn. Having to pay £34.00 for 1 day, 18 hours and so many minutes just topped it off really.
