"Positive experience"
After reading some other reviews, I was concerned before my stay. Thankfully my stay was very positive, the staff were all very polite and helpful, breakfast lovely and always stocked up, room also lovely and windows designed to ensure minimum noise from the airport. Great place to stay if attending an event at the Excel. Would definitely chose this hotel again.
"Great hotel, lovely staff and close to the arena."
This hotel restored my faith in Premier Inns. Following my last review of the Premier Inn in Chiswick which was filthy this hotel more than made up for it. The staff were lovely. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. The bed was really comfy. We walked from the Excel Arena and it took 15 minutes or so but was 2 minutes from the DLR. Would absolutely stay here again.

I like Premier Inns. They always have nice bathrooms (this one did) and nice beds (this one did), nice pillows (this one did) and you usually are sure of having a nice rest (I did). Super price, lovely clean rooms and ideal location. What more could you want? Check in was a mess because of the massive State of Trance dance event over the water which meant the poor woman on reception was hopelessly overrun with barely-capable-of-speech space cadets (and me) all wanting their bags from the storage room, all complaining that the vending machines were not working (they were) and me wanting to check in. But the rooms were great and I'd 100% stay here again for an early morning LCY departure. Uber to LCY was a fiver and took six minutes. Ideal.
"The worst premier inn I’ve ever stayed in."
We were staying for two nights while we saw an exhibition at the London Excel. Area was not great was the first impression. It’s advertised as a short work from London Excel, hence why we chose this hotel, as one member of our group could walk but shorter distances. This is by far the worst premier inn I’ve ever stayed at. Unfriendly, incompetent staff. Lifts kept breaking down. I got stuck in one. Never answered the Emergancy bell to assure me they were dealing with it. No apology, no concern, total disregard. By far the worst premier inn I have stayed in. Couldn’t wait to see the exhibition at London Excel and leave the hotel.
"Fawlty Towers"
Stay elsewhere, this hotel falls well below the Premier Inn standard. Breakfast is the worst I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, staff completely uninterested
