"Great hotel would book again"
Great location close to buses tubes and trains and the cable car over to the 02. Lovely clean room with everything you need inside tea coffee water etc. hair dryer needs a bit if attention but otherwise it was great.

Great location, easy free parking, close to Elizabeth line (700 metres) and very clean, comfortable rooms.
Breakfast and dinner was very tasty, good service and choices

"Stay at Premier Inn Excel"
Went with my family. As always, I prefer Premier-Inn and this place did not disappoint me or my family with their hospitality.
Hotel manager showed extra care to sort out the room issue. So thank you to him.
Breakfast was good but looked bit messy as it was vey busy - so this is the only part looked average.

"Unsatisfactory Experience from Check-in to Breakfast"
I recently stayed at Premier Inn London Docklands (Excel) and regret to say that my experience was extremely disappointing.
The check-in process, which now relies on self-service pods, was inefficient. The system was unable to locate my booking, requiring me to request assistance and wait several minutes before a member of staff from the restaurant attended. This created an unnecessarily poor first impression.
Upon entering the room, I noted a distinct musty odour, which detracted from the overall standard of cleanliness and comfort expected.
In addition, I had originally booked two rooms and contacted the hotel in advance to amend the date of one booking. I was advised to cancel and rebook, with the assurance that a refund would be issued. I clearly explained that the booking was amendable rather than refundable; however, it was cancelled regardless, and I have yet to receive any refund. This matter remains unresolved and is of significant concern.
The breakfast service was particularly unsatisfactory. After waiting to be seated, we were attended by a member of staff who appeared to have difficulty understanding us. Many tables were left uncleared, requiring us to clean a table ourselves before being able to sit. Despite breakfast being advertised as unlimited, food availability was consistently inadequate. When items were replenished, large numbers of guests gathered, resulting in overcrowding and difficulty accessing the food.
Furthermore, basic provisions were lacking: there was initially no hot water available for tea, one coffee machine was out of order, and the other required maintenance. Juice dispensers were empty, and guests frequently had to request replenishment. It was evident that staffing levels were insufficient to manage demand.
Overall, the experience fell well below acceptable standards. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. I also expect a full refund for the cancelled room, as the cancellation was made contrary to my explicit request.
