"Convenient location for family trip."
Theresa deserves a raise. Busy place but Theresa made time to make us feel welcome. Hotel is conveniently close to train station and a co op is right next door. Perfect location. Would definitely stay again.
"Terrible Experience at Premier Inn Croydon"
Wifi never works and was not so clean. Asked if they could fix the wifi and staff just said no. Very depressing place to stay too.
"Teresa rocks!!"
We have stayed here many times over the last few years and returned after a break. We used the early check in option after travelling from Liverpool. Upon arrival we were greeted by a fantastic member of staff called Teresa and she was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to help us upon check in and even assisted us with a few queries and nothing was too much trouble for her. We had two rooms booked one family and one double and both were immaculate and the new shower feature in the bathroom really pleased our daughter. If I had to pick a fault it would be the fact that the desk in the rooms has been changed to a small table and there isn’t much toilet paper in the dispenser so went to purchase one.
"Average"
Stayed here for three days for a event close bye check in was online even though there was a person at reception the room I had smelt of damp and the bathroom smelt of cigarette which I dont smoke mable was very friendly and went over and above to make mine and friend stay as good as can be she is very friendly and chatty one of the staff had a bit of a attitude towards mable
"OK for one night but avoid the breakfast"
We have stayed here a couple of times when attending events in London. Reception is on the first floor and the lifts have never worked when we’ve been there. Check-in itself is slightly bizarre. Even if there is a member of staff there, they insist you use the self check-in screens which sometimes don’t work and generally take longer than being checked in by a real person. Weird. However, the rooms have been good both times. They are clean, neat and quiet. The beds are comfy and we have slept well both times. The showers are weak, which is standard for hotels, but they serve their purpose for a one night stay. The second time we stayed, however, we were a little disappointed. The bathroom bin had not been emptied after the previous guest and was teeming with sanitary products. Not nice but that in itself wasn’t a deal breaker. We didn’t use the bin much over one night. However, for the very first time at this particular hotel we decided to have breakfast. That was a mistake. While breakfasts in other Premier Inns we have stayed at recently have been excellent (London Bridge, Solihull, Hammersmith), this one was poor. Our table was dirty. We had to clean it ourselves and find our own tub of cutlery (which was very water-stained). The low-slung lighting near our table seemed designed to hit anyone over 5ft10 – which we are. The buffet itself was meagre. They ran out of eggs (both fried and scrambled), had no black pudding and ran out of all juice except for cranberry. There was little in the way of pastries – which were located at a dead end, thus causing a crowd of guests to become trapped at the end of the room. Really poor layout! I’m sure that the missing products were actually available, it’s just that the dining area is badly managed. We might stay here again but would definitely skip the breakfast and go to Pret round the corner instead.
