"Lovely breakfast"
What a lovely place to go for breakfast. Teresa was very welcoming, friendly and catered for our needs. Thank you for making our morning breakfast lovely! Food was well cooked and poached eggs on demand. I would recommend and go back again soon!
"A holiday we'll remembered!!!!"
My wife and I stayed at the premiere inn at east croydon. We had a lovely stay. We were remembered, fondly by the manager,Teresa which was a lovely start to our holiday. We had a new room on the 5th floor. The room had a lovely power shower, called rain forest, my wife tells me.... The room had a small fridge with complimentary bottle of water. Im glad to say that we also had a coffee machine with pods, easy to use and mugs. The bed and pillows were perfect to sleep in. The only criticism we had was the lift which was very temperamental. It wouldn't or couldn't take us to the ground floor. We could however go from the ground floor up to the fifth floor. The breakfast was self service and we had a lovely bowl of fresh fruit to start our day and fresh coffee. Then we followed that up with the full English breakfast, self service.... Perfectly cooked and hot.... Thank you...
"Third stay, won't be the last!"
This is my third stay at this hotel and I'm sure it won't be the last. The value for money and comfort of the rooms is amazing. This hotel is right next to East croydon train station so it is so easy to go to London or London airports. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast is great too.
"The good, average and bad"
The good Every member of staff I met was pleasant and willing to help. Most appear to have multiple tasks, and I guess this is the Whitbread model. To be honest, I am unsure why the staff are so happy The average The hotel is located a few mins walk away from East Croydon and buses to Heathrow. But Croydon is a dive. Witnessed street drinkers in the area, and you will witness a few fights. There is a coop convenience store under the hotel, which further attracts shop lifters to loiter near the entrance of the hotel. Couple that with the reception is on the 1st floor, there is uncontrolled access to the 1st floor and risk of being tailgated onto bedroom floors We stayed in a Premier Plus room, air conditioning was good, and we had all the Premier plus goodies, wifi codes are emailed on check-in. The room, however, was tired, questionable stains on chairs and stool as well as the carpet. I guess it highlights the kinda client that stays in Croydon Town Centre. The ugly, maintenance. We had plumbing issues with the shower, the shower was loose, and the water wouldn't drain away. One of the 2 lifts was broken and waiting parts, and will be out for a further month or so. The other lift refused to call at the ground floor. Okay, if you could walk down the stairs but less great if you had a wheelchair , luggage, or a pushchair. It's just not good enough. When we visited reception, we overheard many complaints about sinks or showers not working. The only saving grace was the air conditioning was spot on. The hotel is tired, and it's clear that Whitbred is shaving too much off . Public areas felt unclean, and poor maintenance and questionable quality of room furnishings all add up to a non Premier feel. For one night, you will be okay. The staff make this hotel. Whitbred needs to invest in better maintenance and splash some cash. It's not acceptable for any hotel with a Trip Advisor award to allow such poor maintenance to become such a problem
"Disappointing stay "
This is possibly the worst premier inn i have ever stayed at Stale bathroom, no handwash no shower gel Just one towel provided for a family of 4 Room was hot to the point of suffocation, despite repeated requests the staff didnot help us. We asked for a fan but they did ot have one. Staff are rude, dont know how to talk to customers. Particulalry night staff. They charge 10.99 for breakfast but not many options available and is a rip off. Coffee machines were not working. Lifts not working Generally no staff avaialble for help
