      "Avoid!"
I honestly feel like that I can’t of stayed at the same hotel as some of the reviews on here unless the rooms vary in how clean & modern they are which I doubt. This place was grim! Firstly the man on reception was nice & pleasant but that’s where it ends. When we arrived in the evening there were people hanging around outside & it just felt unsafe & grim. Ive stayed at plenty of premier inns elsewhere & always found that they were clean & comfortable but this was not the case with this place. Our room was dirty & so hot (no air con on the hottest night of the year) toilet seat was hanging off one side & toilet was dirty. There was also a ball of hair sitting on the carpet. It was dark & dated & the room seemed to have yellow walls. If I’d of had my car with me I would have gone elsewhere but as it was for work I was literally stuck at a random industrial area.Stains on the chairs & marks on the bedsheet but as it was so warm I slept (tried too) on top of the duvet cover praying for it to be morning so that I could escape this living hell!!!! Never again!!! Perhaps looking back I should have requested a different room but after a day traveling I had to admit defeat & just pray for my stay to be over with which was thankfully just the one night.
      "Sweatbox Torture"
The temperature inside this hotel was unbelievable, our room was no lower than 31.5 degrees all night and into the morning. The staff whom were friendly supplied us two fans but it was futile, the temperature was ridiculous. The windows were tethered so only opened an inch or so. I may have got 2-3 hours combined sleep, I showered 3 times and in the end I got up at 5am and went for a walk outside the hotel (and to McDonalds to get some drinks) to cool down… I sat in the car for a while and the temperature reader in the car said the outside temp was 20 degrees.. After a while I went back to the room and it was still 31.5 degrees inside our room…. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room was air conditioned… We came from Chesterfield and the idea was to stop in the hotel and have a relaxing night and conducts some business in the area circa 10:30, I would have had more sleep and been more relaxed if I had stayed at home and driven there and back in the day… £200 to get tortured by the heat in here… I would never stay in the hotel again, I would rather drive down on the day or sleep in the car.
      "Just so bad."
I can honestly say that this is the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. The temperature inside the building was ridiculous and the bedroom was stiflingly hot. So hot in fact that sleeping was impossible and we had to leave early each morning just to escape the heat. No one ever seemed to answer the buzzer at the front desk. There was a pair of false eyelashes on the floor next to the bed when we arrived. The whole experience was just awful. Avoid.
      "Not fit for purpose"
Absolute sweatbox of a 'hotel'. Better conditions in prison!! Room temperature was 30 degrees all night long, when only 21 degrees outside!! No ventilation, no air extractor in bathroom, room was just a sweatbox sauna, totally unacceptable. Tiny breakfast room can only cater for about 10 people at a time, also was a sweatbox, speakers had clearly blown but still playing music too loud. Had a constant headache due to 30 degree temperature and humidity in room. Disgraceful, will be contacting Premier Inn with this feedback.
      "Better then what was expected."
We stayed here last Saturday, we booked it because it was the cheapest rate in the area and wasn't really expecting much. However, our room was clean enough, albeit tired round the edges, the bed was also tired but the room was quiet and we both slept so no complaints
