London County Hall hotel

If you're willing to be - or perhaps want to be - cut off from the Internet this is the place for you. I'd guess everyone knows Premier Inns knows they offer good rooms - not great - at good prices so I won't spend time describing it. Suffice it to say we have returned to this location many times and been, well, satisfied. And - the woman who staffed the check-in kiosks during our stay deserves a bit of a shout out - friendly, helpful and a hard worker. BUT - for our entire two-day stay we wrestled with trying to get some - any - kind of connectivity to the outside world. Not only did our mobile phones *barely*, sometimes, get a signal from our room, but both the Free and Ultimate Wi-Fi were basically unusable (we had a Plus room and thus a voucher code for the 'Ultimate' (a promised 8 MBPS - how slow must the Free be). You quickly learned that if you somehow managed to connect after a 20 minute struggle you better browse fast, 'cause the Wi-Fi was going to drop you in short order. Should we have complained to the front kiosk? - really, really don't think that would do anything. They need to boost and expand their Wi-Fi capability soon.

Fantastic location. Easy to get to. The hotel was clean, smelled fresh, and the staff was friendly. We booked 2 rooms and one had a wonderful view of the London Eye, the other one had a view of an apartment building. The rain shower is not ideal for people with thick hair but I did like how big the bathrooms were. You could leave the windows open at night and still not hear the hustle and bustle on the street (from floors 5&6). Close to Waterloo tube station, good food, attractions, coffee and shopping. The restaurant in the hotel was okay. Slow service and just okay food, but the staff was friendly enough. The hours posted on the wall were not correct, so check with staff if you plan to dine in house. This is definitely a place that I would stay again. Everything felt very safe and secure, beds were cozy and the price was not much more that hotels further away. If you book multiple rooms and want them together, be sure to request that asap. We thought just because they were booked at the same time, they would be close, but they were on different floors. No biggie for us, but others might want to know.

Amazing experience. Reception staff very friendly. Restaurant staff were lovely. Breakfast and dinner really great. Room 201 was fantastic, lovely view, super clean. Two huge beds. Bathroom was good, nice shower and decent size towels. All round a very positive experience. Would 100% recommend this hotel. Perfect place to stay

The hotel was in a Great location. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was good as was the evening meal. I would recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Amazing location and the room was very clean. A little dated in reception but not that it matters. Staff were all very polite and welcoming. The beds were amazing and we had great night's sleep every night.
