"Disappointing"
This was disappointing. We have been here many times precovid, and it has now changed, not for the better. Firstly, our room was cold on entering it. We were unable to turn the heat on. There are now no phones in the rooms, so we had to go downstairs to ask for the heating to be turned on. They told us they had to activate something but they didn’t do it, so we had to traipse down and ask again. Secondly, they have removed the baths and installed showers , which should be fine except there are no grab handles, and nothing to hold onto, and the showers are slippery . I slipped leaving the shower. There is no room cleaning unless you ask for it before 12 pm on the day required. We asked for clean towels as they were soaking from the shower flooding the floor, but they never came. There is only ever one person on reception and since most people want to fetch or leave their luggage one needs to queue for a long time, We ordered fish and chips for lunch one day and I ordered white bread and butter with it. The menu stated that it was white, but they brought brown seeded bread. I said it should be white and the barman /waiter lied and said there wasn’t any left! I told him I can’t eat seeds , they make me very ill, so he took it away and finally did come back with white bread ! All in all, the stay was a disappointment and we are unlikely to stay in a premier inn again.
"Create hotel for the money and location"
Great experience?Great location very clean.Great customer service would recommend to stay. I would definitely recommend
"Lovely Fay"
We always stay at this hotel when in London. We find it comfortable, friendly and convenient for visiting the O2. We were particularly happy with the service at breakfast, especially Fay who could not do enough to help us. We will definitely be staying again
"Great location and staff"
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is well maintained, for a budget hotel the beds are very good and the bathrooms are clean and well constructed. Rooms got pretty warm and stuffy at night, some improvement needed with air conditioning. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, they really were excellent. Buffett breakfast was great. Would stay again but Premier Inn does need to sort staffing levels especially in the dining area at breakfast. Not that you’d guess from the staff demeanour (they didn’t look or act stressed) but you could tell they were understaffed by about 1/3 - 1/2. All in all, would recommend.
"Great location, clean rooms, but a little tired and noisy"
Stayed at the Premier Inn London County Hall in October 2025 for one night. The building itself is grand and the location couldn’t be better — right beside the river and within walking distance of many of London’s key attractions. Check-in was automated and easy to use, with staff nearby if needed. My double room was a good size, clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable, though it did get quite warm under the synthetic duvet. The view wasn’t much to shout about — it overlooked an internal square — but for a short stay, it was perfectly fine. Breakfast was self-serve with plenty of choice, everything warm, fresh, and a good start to the day. I did attempt to use the bar in the evening but it was quite busy and noisy, with a few guests worse for wear and even some mess on the floor, so I decided to head out instead. The atmosphere overall was lively, perhaps a little too much at times, and early morning deliveries made it quite noisy. I didn’t have much interaction with staff, but the few I did see were polite and present. At over £200 a night, it’s on the pricey side for this type of hotel — clearly paying a premium for the location — and £2.70 for a bottle of water from the vending machine felt excessive. For location, this place can’t be faulted, and it’s clean and functional. But personally, I wouldn’t stay again — it’s a busy hotel that could do with a bit of TLC.
