"Perfect Location"
We have stayed here before & chose this hotel for its ideal location. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely male member of staff. We were there early, but he was able to check us in early, which was a bonus. The room was a decent size, very clean & had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The beds were really comfortable & we had a good nights sleep. The view out the window wasn’t great but we weren’t in the room that much anyway. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice & always well stocked. All the staff were very friendly & courteous. The only negative was it was looking a bit tired in places, some of the chairs in the bar area were a bit threadbare. If you fancy a late night, the bar is now open until 3am!
"Very good room. Not so good Hotel"
The best of this hotel is the size of the familly room and the excellent sound insulation of the rooms. The locations is very good too. But, in my opinion, and HOTEL should have a proper reception. Anyway we have just spent four days here and everything went well.
"Good stay"
Great location. Good and clean and spacious room Breakfast wasn’t a bit disappointing Staff really friendly and chatty. They made for a nice atmosphere
"Great Hotel for Reasonable Price in Convenient Location"
This hotel is a fantastic find for its price range. We stayed here as a family group (5 different rooms for 8 nights each room for a total of 40 nights all together). We all had the Premier Plus rooms close to each other on the sixth floor. One of our rooms had the London Eye view, which was fun. Everyone liked their room. The rooms are a little smaller than a typical American hotel room, but they definitely have everything you need. There is room to walk around the bed (the beds are not pushed up against a wall on two sides like they are in a lot of smaller European hotel rooms). Though it was very hot in London during our stay (90 degrees F), the air conditioning in our rooms worked well. We were also able to open our window on cooler nights, which was nice. The hotel staff are really great. They went out of their way to be helpful. I did a lot of research on hotels, and this is a great choice for the price range. The location is super convenient for tourists. You are close to Westminster Bridge and tube stop and also the Waterloo train and tube station. Beds were comfortable. We used Laundry Heap for laundry and the staff at the hotel handled the pickup and drop-off.
"Bites from flying insects in the room"
Stayed here for the army v navy rugby.Upon arrival hotel looked clean and tidy. Fast forward to the following morning.. I'd been bitten like mad all on my arms neck hands and face. I spoke to reception and asked that they send someone up to the room and at least spray something as these bites didn't just appear from nowhere. I left the hotel and didn't return until late that night only to find that no one had been upto the room and saw some flying creatures on theh walls.. I managed to kill some of them but obviously not them all as waking up the next morning I was even worse. I again went to reception asked for the manager, showed her the bites and she did offer to send me to hospital but I wasn't prepared to stay in London so declined. As soon as si got back home I visited my own hospital only to be told that these were definitely bites and I'd now got cellulitis from the bites. Was sent home with tablets and steroid creams. I opened up a complaints with the hotel and they stipulated that they would send someone in to the room and investigate. I asked for an update in may only to be met with an abrupt reply stating they would get intouch when they had investigated. I sent another email in June and I've received nothing back. I have been intouch with a solicitor as this is unacceptable.
