London Clapham hotel

We chose to return here for the second time after being happy with our first stay. The hotel is in a good location, handy for buses and less than 30 min walk to Battersea. Clapham Common tube is about a ten minute walk away as is all the bars and restaurants. I had requested a twin room at the time of booking months ago and called to confirm this the week of our stay and was told this was confirmed in their records. We were late in checking in, approx 10.30 pm. We were very disappointed upon opening our room to see it was a double and not twin room. I went straight down to reception to speak to them about this, the lady said as it was so late there was no one from house keeping but she would make a note to ensure it would be sorted the next day. We were out all day the following day and once again were disappointed when returning to the room that no one had been to turn it into twin room. There was no one on reception so couldn’t flag this to them and just hoped the matter would be resolved the following day. However we were sightseeing all day then ended up at the theatre so once again were late home and unsurprisingly the room had not been changed. We checked out the next day and couldn’t even speak to anyone regarding this issue as there was no one there and we just had to put our room keys into a glass box to check out.

Amazing stay for our anniversary! Thank you so much to the duty manager Zaniab who checked us in, amazing customer service and made us feel very welcome, we were surprised to see they had left chocolates and flowers for us in the room 🥰 thank you so much for such an amazing stay 🥰

Friendly staff who are always happy to help. Clean room with good sized bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with good variety. Overall a great stay.

I had a fantastic stay at Premier Inn Clapham with my two young daughters, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made us feel comfortable straight away and were brilliant with the girls, which really helped make our stay feel special. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed after a busy day exploring London. The beds were lovely and comfortable, and it was great having somewhere we could relax together at the end of the day. The location was also fantastic for our London trip, making it easy for us to get around and enjoy everything we had planned. Most importantly, my daughters absolutely loved the whole experience, and seeing them so happy made the stay even more enjoyable for me. A huge thank you to all the staff at Premier Inn Clapham for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting London, especially families. Five stars from all three of us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rashmy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service Under Pressure This was my first one-day business trip, and I stayed at Premier Inn Clapham. The hotel was fully booked, the restaurant was extremely busy, and the team appeared to be under a lot of pressure due to being short-staffed. I was particularly impressed by one member of the team, Rashmy. She was working incredibly hard, covering reception, the restaurant, and helping guests with whatever they needed. Despite the pressure and how busy everything was, she remained professional, friendly, and, most impressively, always had a smile on her face. It is not easy to maintain that level of customer service when you are under so much pressure, and I genuinely wanted to recognise her effort, Thank you, Rashmy, for the excellent customer care and for making a very busy hotel feel welcoming. Premier Inn should be proud to have someone like you on the team. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
