"Great hotel near tower bridge"
Premier Inn Tower Hill is very well located for easy access by foot or public transport to all major landmarks .There are plenty of food options nearby too .The hotel is very clean ,the staff v friendly and the breakfast excellent value .The rooms are modern and very quiet .highly recommend
"Good location"
Very good location clise to DLR and tube stations. Staff all very helpful and polite. Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower looked new and worked well as did the Wi-Fi. Breakfast was hot and plentiful with lots of choice. Only negatives were the proximity of our room to the train lines which did impact on our sleep quality, air con went off in the middle of the night so the room got very warm and the toilets in reception were dirty and blocked. A great choice however for a stay in London.
"Great premier inn"
This is a great premier inn. They definitely differ but this one is up there. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Nice stay
"Fantastic stay, lovely staff."
The hotel is in an excellent location near to 3 tube station and within easy walking distance of Tower Bridge, Tower of London. Lets start the review. My wife, 2 Granddaughters aged 7 and 4 and myself arrived around 13:00 on the 1st August to be met like old family friends by a smart well presented gentleman on reception who's name I sadly did not catch. Looking around reception it was neat well kept and no signs of mis-use by guests Everything was well explained and with genuine warmth by staff who really wanted us to stay. Throughout our stay every interaction with the reception team was positive, polite and mean't with sincerity. The young male receptionist was outstanding and a credit to the hotel. Score 5/5. Room We had a family room on the ground floor and upon entering the room we were surprised at the size, it was big and when we looked around very well maintained. I couldn't find any damage or significant wear and tear. The cleanliness was superb could find and dust or debris, even under the beds was spotless (I'm sad as I always check before and at the end of stays in case items have been dropped) Bathroom was a decent size with good quality towels (none were threadbare) and toiletries. Plenty of hot water. Only criticism and I don't know if its just this hotel or across the chain. The baths are quite high sided and could be difficult for elderly or young people to get in and out of.( Please raise this with senior management for them to think about and look into) Plenty to Tea coffee and with spares kept at reception to help yourself to. (Great touch) Room Score 5/5 Breakfast This was situated in the basement and again met by a very polite young lady. An excellent selection of cereals juices. Pancakes, pastries and cakes, sourdough crumpets were available as war fresh fruit, yogurts and also fresh fruit cocktail. The cooked food was also superb. It was well presented well laid out under hot lamps and was consistent. My Grand daughters who are fussy eaters devoured everything they tried. The catering staff were well presented clean and tidy and the kitchen area that you could see was clean as was the dining area Score 5/5. We left at 11:30 on Sunday and again reception staff were excellent, asking if the stay was alright wishing us a safe journey. All in all a absolutely lovely weekend. I would like to pass on to each and every member of staff a heartfelt thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you all. Would I stop at this hotel again, very definitely. Would I recommend this hotel, very definitely Is the hotel good value for money Yes.
"Good BUT.."
Hotel is 5/5 for location - short walk to two tube stations and Tower Bridge, Spitalfields Market & Southbank all within walking distance. Staff friendly and hotel comfortable and clean. BUT huge drawback for us was the noise from neighbouring rooms - not sure if this was due to the connecting door to adjoining room or if the walls are just ridiculously thin, but being woken by next doors mobile ringing, hearing every word they say & every word from their TV channel is unfortunately a deal breaker for this hotel for me. Such a shame as great hotel otherwise!
