"Not as good as previous visits!"
We first discovered this hotel pre 2020 and we were very impressed . We thought it was a better Premier Inn. Great location , very modern and lovely staff. We have just returned after a 5 night stay. We thought our room was tired especially the bathroom and the carpet needed a good clean. The water pressure was also poor! The shower was rubbish. What annoyed me was having to queue up every morning to request housekeeping/ fresh towels which is ridiculous when you are staying longer than a few days! We were told that this would happen between 3pm - 6pm! Definitely penny pinching by Premier Inn. I can’t fault the location of the hotel or the AC in the room. This hotel is fine for a single night stays . Five nights for us was too long!
"Sleepless nights"
We were in room 201 very tired after travelling down. Went to bed early and were woken up several times by residents noise and arguing in the early hours. Also the windows in our room are not adequate the stop the street/traffic and people noise. I asked reception if we could be moved other family members had a peaceful night sleep. Lovley room but lack of sleep ruined our experience. Staff said we could contact you to be reimbursed due to your quiet night policy.
"A Warm Welcome"
Warm welcome, very friendly at both check-in and check-out. Showed genuine interest in making our stay good and cheery goodbye as we left. Bedroom comfortable - grateful for air con with temperatures at 27 degrees. Good sized room and bathroom. Useful to have hair dryer.
"Usual premier inn standard"
Usual friendly and helpful staff. Location is great for buses, tube and good places to eat. Room was clean and decor usual premier inn. Air con was good. Keycard was a pain as failed everyday bar one. Kept key in usual place always keep as am aware of them being affected by magnets from credit/debit cards or phones. We left one in the room for the day and that failed. We also tried two new ones we got the evening before on the way out next morning and both failed again. Not great after a day walking round london due to tube strike in pouring rain to then queue up to sort keys out daily. Spoilt a wonderful stay a tad. On the plus we requested a room that had no adjoining door or near their laundry room and they made our requests come true. So well done on that.
"Allowing me an extra shower"
They allowed me to take a shower in a cleaned room 4 hours after I’d checked out cos i came back from my half marathon just to pick up my bag. Absolutely lovely staff there !! Sadly i forgot their names
