Very good location( 2 minutes to Aldgate east metro station). Very clean place with good food and comfy bed. Air condition in every room- works perfect.

Genuinely one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had in London.
I stayed here before an important day at work and requested an iron at 21:15. I was told one would be delivered to my room. It never arrived. I stayed awake waiting until after 23:15, eventually fell asleep, then had to get up early and go back to reception myself at 05:45 to obtain one.
What is most frustrating is not the failure itself, but the complete lack of ownership afterwards. The hotel's response was essentially that irons are "subject to availability" and therefore not guaranteed. For a hotel charging over £200 per night, this is simply not good enough. If an iron isn't available, tell guests that immediately. Don't promise delivery and then leave them waiting for two hours.
The room itself also felt remarkably outdated. In 2026, there were no plug sockets by the bed and no USB charging points anywhere in the room. These are basic conveniences that even budget accommodation often provides as standard.
Premier Inn built its reputation on reliability, but this stay was the exact opposite. Poor communication, broken promises, dated facilities and a customer service response that completely missed the point.
For over £200 a night in central London, I expected far better.

The Location is great. Rooms and the hotel in general need to refreshed. Our toilet did not have a toilet brush. Staff is good, polite and helpfull. All in all, a very good experience.

"Loveliest check in lady"
I was immediately greeted by the loveliest and friendliest lady on the check in desk, I arrived on Saturday the 26th of September between 12pm and 3pm and was greeted with a lovely kind smile. The location is brilliant and the room is spotless. I can’t remember the lovely women’s name but she is a great asset to your company.
