"First time was a 2/10 but the second time was a 8/10."
We checked in on the 14th August stayed till 16th August. The AC did not work the whole time. We called for someone to have a look at it but no one responded the first time which was quite disappointing. The second time did work but this time too the mechanic was not able to do anything. When we asked to change the room they said they will have a look but again nothing happened. This room had no cell service at all and the wifi was terrible. However we stayed at the same hotel again from the 17th August till the 19th August as we had pre booked from months earlier, this room was 10x better. The AC worked, had cell service as well everything else was a lot more decent in general.
"Good Location - Friendly staff."
Excellent place to start a London adventure as it is next to the Westferry DLR that makes access to London and the surrounds very straight forward.
"Nickle and diming as usual"
The hotel is pretty new and very clean. The staff were fine. Couple of gripes though. When you arrive there is nowhere to park to offload your suitcases etc. There are disabled bays around the back and double yellow lines everywhere. I had to wait with the car checking for traffic wardens whilst my wife checked in and took our things to the room. Checking in.... Hmmmm. We arrived early and would have paid the early checking in fee no problem. However, my wife asked if the room was ready and the host said it was. Despite this, it still cost us £15 for early check in. But the room is ready. It's available for us to put things into. I don't understand that. If it was still to be cleaned, fair enough but it's available and they still charge you the fee. Nickle and diming. As usual. The car park is a separate entity over near the Wetherspoons (a nice one). It is £24 a day, so three nights is a costly affair. It's about five minutes walk away and if you don't have sat nav, good luck. If you're old and its raining, this is not a pleasant experience. The rooms are okay but quite small, there's nowhere to put anything and these days Premier's seemingly don't even have baths. It's a poor affair really. They're not as good as they used to be. Westferry's a decent area and the hotel is next to the tube which is handy. I would say go to the Travelodge at East India Dock. It's only three short stops away and you get exactly the same kind of room but you can park at the hotel.
"Perfect Inn!"
Excellent, modern clean and very friendly staff. Made staying with children very easy. Very comfortable beds and spacious room.
"Overall OK"
Overall a good stay staff were friendly and helpful room was good except the room thermostat was not working so the room temperature was too hot
