"Great location"
The location is excellent, right next to the DLR. Unfortunately the DLR was shut at the weekend but just a short walk to the underground. The hotel had air-conditioning which is much appreciated (if you are from the US this is British air-con, don't expect freezing air). We made use of the luggage store, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The local area is busy with plenty of restaurants and shops. We were on the 16th floor and it was quiet at night.
"A good family room"
The best budget hotel in a very interesting area of London. Spacious room, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and silent at night. With a kettle, some breakfast basics and a hairdryer. Plenty of space for the suitcases, just enough space for hanging clothes.
"Good hotel near Canary Wharf "
My friend and I stayed here for 1 night on a Friday having prebooked via their website. The place is easy to find and right next to Westferry DLR station. We drove and there is a SABA (paid) car park about 7 mins walk away. We had pre-paid for early check-in (£15) and I am glad we did because we saw people at reception requesting early check-in but they were unable to accomodate them until the 3pm check-in time unless it had been pre-booked. Remember, it's subject to availability if you leave it till you arrive. The receptionist who checked me in was friendly and professional. She also provided me with an iron and ironing board upon request to take up to my room. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The AC worked very well (needed as you can't open any windows). Overall, this is a great hotel for those visiting the Canary Wharf area with excellent transport links to get around London.
"Lovely stay"
Friendly and clean hotel in a decent location if you don’t mind a bit of travel. Good view. Friendly bar, often with people using it.
"Excellent hotel to stay in London"
We stayed for 6 nights, a couple and a family with children. The staff was attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good even for us Italians :-) Excellent to exit the DLR stop and find yourself already at your destination, but inside the rooms are well soundproofed and you can hear almost nothing of the outside noises.
