London Canary Wharf (Westferry) hotel

Service excellent. Staff very warm and friendly. 5 stars. Room cleanliness excellent. Breakfast excellent.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, usual comfortable beds. Good breakfast although Coffee quality is poor. WiFi is awful, there is no phone service in some rooms which means you’re reliant on WIFI. Measured at 1.27 Mbps Good location for Canary Wharf and right outside Westferry DLR Station

Why is no one talking about the views? I have stayed here the last two nights and it’s fab. Next to Westferry DLR. Short walk to space-age Canary Wharf. Lovely big room on 16th floor with sweeping views. Comfortable bed - I slept so well. And the sweetest staff. Lots of space to work and hang out in the foyer with a coffee. I’m sad to leave.

I am always going to this specific premier in. And never had problems until now. It started at check in, we arrived at 4:30pm, (check in at 3) and was told our room was not ready, that was fine we waited in the bar, upon arrival to our room we noticed the room is not what we booked. Thankfully I screenshotted the exact booking details an hour before checking in which stated that we specifically asked for an accessible twin room due to the person I was travelling with needing a wet room, upon arrival the staff had changed us to a double room and when we told him he wasn’t shocked and said he did it because he didn’t think we needed a wet room. We was then told our new room would be another half an hour wait for the housekeeping to get it ready, so we ended up checking into our room at 5pm, again this wasn’t the worst issue as we had no where to be that evening. Upon entering our room we almost everything was perfect, other than the stains on the bathroom floor by the shower, again not a major issue but it was stuff that was coming off when we was showering so maybe the bathroom floor has not been cleaned (again this is a wet room), their was make up on one of our towels, quite clearly too. Thankfully we was able to ask for new towels. Another problem was upon checking on the toilet roll in our bathroom was very low and not much left (we didn’t have a roll it was more of a tissue dispenser) this wasn’t topped up but only slightly. The only other issue I had with this stay was the lack of service in the bar, we made it known to staff we was waiting to be served and they kept calling people on their walkie talkies but still no one had came. At one point we waited 45 minutes just for a cup of ice in which the lovely woman served us in seconds it’s just a shame we was told to wait.

Went as a family. We were a little crowded in a family room but mostly only needed the room for sleeping. The hotel was great, very convenient with public transport right outside. Also a few minutes walk to boat transfer or shopping mall with lots of choices for eating as well.
