"Started great - but ended in disaster!"

Got to check in early and parking costs £5 per day; (remember to get your ticket validated by the hotel, otherwise it will cost you more). There are lots of shops nearby which is really handy. The room was basic, clean, good price and they have good 'black out' curtains to stop the daylight coming in, in the morning. Shower was great and the bed was comfy. Plus, location was great for transport links into London and other places - train station very close by and quite a few buses. However, there are no phones in the room, so you can't call down to reception if you have a query or issue. You have to keep going down to reception or call from your own phone, which they sometimes to long to answer. Don't think they do room service? No fridge in the room; some other Premier Inn chains have this, would be so useful especially if you're staying for quite while! The bathroom(s) had a smoke smell, even though I requested a non-smoking room. Overall, room was small - maybe they have bigger? Didn't ask. Lifts from car park to hotel was a bit confusing. Also, they could have had more complimentary things in the room e.g. water, more toiletries etc. Would have been nice. The breakfast is not 'premier' at all for what you get; this cost £8.99 (hot breakfast). Overall, found service can be very slow - the times I came down to reception- no one was there, had to constantly wait or try and find someone myself, very frustrating at times. One time it seemed like the manager was responsible for manning both the restaurant and the checking in?! WIFI was a bit temperamental; sometimes couldn't connect and had to keep logging on. Finally, heating - sometimes took a while to heat up when you turned on the heating system; absolutely freezing at times! Then the heating and hot water stopped working altogether (issue across the hotel) - poor handling of this issue and ended up checking out and going to another hotel. Sent an email to guest services and called to make a complaint. No response to my email as yet - but lady on the phone when I called was nice and helpful.

"Absolutely delightful and devine "

What can I say about Premier Inn that hasn't already been said? It was a totally unexpected delightful stay. The decor of the room was amazing and not what I had at all expected. I love walking around barefoot alot and the feeling of,walking on the carpet barefoot was wonderful and it felt bouncy. My feet have never felt that feeling from a carpet for a long time. One of the main surprises upon entering that room was the make and size of the 📺. I was genuinely surprised to see a 32in/40in Samsung 📺 hanging on the wall considering that every hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in has always seemed to have a 19in?? Alba 📺 in the rooms. I have never ever in my life seen a popular and expensive make of 📺 in a hotel room. Enough talk regarding 📺, let's talk about the rest of the room. OMG the 🛌 was so comfortable that we actually slept through the check out time by two hours. We were kicking ourselves that we didn't book our stay for two nights because we totally and utterly did not want to leave the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept in (we learnt from our mistake because when we booked a room from Travel Lodge we booked a two night stay). There is not one bad thing that I could say about Premier Inn apart from the fact that they didn't supply us with enough bath towels, we had to share one bath towel and one hand towel between the both of us. My other half was the unlucky one who was second in line for 🛁 meaning he was trying to dry himself with a wet towel. During check in they themselves brought up the problem with the towel issue and said that housekeeping would call at room with the extra towels (housekeeping never came to our room with the towels). As I said our one regret was not booking the room for two nights, one night at a Premier Inn is not enough. We have decided that next year we will stay at a different Premier Inn every month for a minimum of two nights. I for one can't wait to get to know the Premier Inn chain a whole lot better. I would totally 100% stay at this Premier Inn again without a doubt (January we have the pleasure to be staying at the Premier Inn at Greenwich)

"Excellent place to stay!!!"

Just returned from a 2 night stay in the Premier Inn. After reading the reviews prior to booking, I was slightly concerned about some of the negative reviews, but decided to go ahead with the booking. Just shows, don’t pay too much attention to negative reviews. People speak as they find & we found it really really good. From the moment we checked in to the minute we left everything & everyone was excellent. We felt COVID safe. The room was up to the usual high standard of cleanliness, really quiet & we had a very good nights sleep. We ordered a breakfast on the 2nd morning & that was lovely. We chose a full English. The other choice was Continental. It was cooked to perfection. The waiter was very helpful & managed to make me a weak coffee, even though it was from a machine. He was very friendly & efficient. The positioning of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes to Bromley South station & Bromley itself. Parking is very handy, costing us £5 per day. We left our car in the car park for the whole time. One review I read was really helpful warning that if you take your car out of the car park & re park you then pay per hour after that, which could then cost quite a lot the next day. You park in St Marks Square car park, get a ticket then when you check out of the hotel, they validate your ticket. All in all a very enjoyable short break. Perfect for shopping in Bromley, visiting places south of Bromley & of course going into London. I have already recommended it to friends ready for when we can start tripping off again, after lockdown. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long.

"Bed bugs found and no response from customer service"

We stayed at Premier Inn Bromley on Friday 4 September to Monday 7 September, room 115. We found a bug in the bed on the second night but we didn’t realise what this was and didn’t think much of this - it honestly didn’t occur to me that this could be bed bugs. On the last morning we found 2 bugs in the bathroom. It was only then that I Googled and realised these were bed bugs. In the current COVID-19 climate cleanliness is of the upmost importance, we are appalled that the rooms weren’t checked or cleaned properly. When we checked out (Monday 7 September) there were no staff members to complain to. I didn’t want to hang around to wait for a member of staff so we left. I called to complain shortly after. I was informed they would “look into it” but I haven’t heard back since. On the same day I contacted Premier Inn via a contact form on their website to explain the issue. I also made a complaint via Resolver on 12 September. I haven’t heard back from any attempt to contact. My partner has had several bites and we have worried ever since that we might have brought the bed bugs back to our home. As I haven’t heard back from them at all, I have no choice but to leave a review to warn other guests. Please check the room throroughtly before you stay. We have stayed at Premier Inns many times and never had a problem. The experience has been really upsetting and after this, I won’t stay there again.

I have been staying at this lovely part of the country at premier inn and have enjoyed every moments of my stay, special thanks to John, Nida, Michael and the rest of the team to make my stay over the last 6 months as pleasant as it could be.
