"Handy location but poor wifi and plumbing"
Handy location for both busses, the tube and walking. Being off the main street noise was not a problem. Room was comfortable but watch out for poorly maintained plumbing and very slow wifi. Wifi forces you to accept marketting spam, so shouldn't be called free in my opinion - and then was too slow to use.
Reported a plumbing/safety issue to front desk but it went unaddressed the entire stay -> I will avoid this location in future.

"A good stay"
Stayed for 4 nights, overall really pleased.
Decent value for London as I booked a year ahead. Clean room and really close to a good underground station on the district line. Also had a Tesco across the road which we used daily
We got access to our room at 9am for an extra £15 which seemed good value and they kept our bags after checkout
In terms of negatives AC was hit and miss, room cleaning isn't automatic and they didn't have a proper shower.

"10/10"
I've stayed in quite a few Premier Inn hotels over the years, and this has by far been my favourite stay. I enjoyed my experience so much that I'm already planning to return next year.
The location is perfect—within walking distance of St Paul's Cathedral, with excellent transport links and plenty of brilliant restaurants nearby.
I also really appreciated the toy section in Reception. My son made great use of it, and it was a lovely touch that helped keep him entertained.
The staff were consistently polite, friendly and approachable throughout our two-night stay. I also used the self check-in system for the first time, and it was quick, straightforward and completely hassle-free.
The only downside to my stay was the smell in the hallways. I couldn't help but notice a persistent damp, musty odour throughout the corridors. I appreciate that wet shoes and luggage from the rain are probably inevitable and may contribute to this, but it was quite noticeable during my stay.
Overall, this was an excellent stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Premier Inn to anyone visiting London.

"Premier Inn with a good location, at a decent price"
Great location, direct train from Kings Cross on Thameslink. The hotel is a couple of minutes from Blackfriars station, and the Thames at Blackfriars on a quiet street. Nice walks along the embankment to the west end.
Within half hour walk of the Theatre District, Covent Garden etc. and 10 minutes to St Paul's in the other direction.
Great staff, good breakfast, good size family room. Only one negative - the bathroom could do with a re-fresh. But for the cost it's good value.
