London Barking hotel

Had a great stay recently, rooms were quite nice. Mostly I was very pleased with the service, the staff members were very nice and one specific member was particularly lovely, I forgot her name but she was quite small and has long black hair, she helped us with everything we needed and gave us an excellent service

I enjoyed my stay. My second time there actually. The room, food and location were great. Their customer service most stood out for me. They were all pleasant. I will also want to mention Emily, she was wonderful, calm, attentive and ready to help. My issue with the hotel that I think they should work on is their cleaning the rooms. I stayed with my family for many days. The few times we requested our room cleaned, it was not properly cleaned. What they did mostly is to change the towels. They didn’t hoover the rug and clean the toilets. I also noticed that many times, you hardly find a staff at the reception. You will have to wait, sometimes minutes before someone comes out to attend to you. Apart from these, it was a nice experience

Location is convenient (local to station). Room was clean. Breakfast and dinner was good value as we were able to do meal deals during our stay. Service was great. Manager Aleasha and receptionists sky and Emily were happy to help whenever we asked.

My stay with my family was very poor. Being my first time at a premier Inn. We arrived very late on Sunday night very tired with 2 kids. The receptionists did not show any sign of readiness to work. One had headphones around His neck and other looked very unconcerned. It took them close to 10 mins to get us a key to a room we had booked prior to our visit. We had to constantly ask questions to know what they were doing for us as we were not inform if the room was ready or not. All the while, we had our sleeping kids in our arms. One 3 year old and another 10 months old. Once we finally got to the room, we realised that the additional bed we requested for was not prepared and there was no additional blanket for the second bed. We rang the front desk to request for an additional blanket but the receptionist told us he did not have access to the laundry room so he doesn’t know how to get us a blanket and said he would tell the housekeeping team to bring us one in the morning. Mind you, we were only staying a night. My partner and I were very upset. I felt very bad since I was the one who made the booking. I don’t think my family and I will be visiting any premier Inn.
