"Great location"

Between London and Tower Bridge, close to monument, bank and Tower Hill underground stations. Hotel clean as expected. We were unable to have breakfast the first morning due to an electrical fault in the kitchen which the hotel had proactively informed us by email which was appreciated. We had a great cooked breakfast in hotel the 2nd morning and the hotel promptly refunded us for the breakfast we were unable to have. Good location with plenty bars, restaurants and cafe within couple minutes walk. Would stay again

"Multiple disturbances despite late check out"

Disturbed 3 times despite late check out. Was over for Remembrance weekend on behalf of a charity I volunteer with. Tried for early check in on the Sat morning (around 11.30am) but nothing available although reception staff were immediately dismissive to anyone requesting early check in. We left our luggage and headed out for the day. Checked in later without any real issues. Electrical issues in the restaurant so no option of dinner or breakfast in the hotel. Had requested twin room, double bed and pull out single bed (aka the sofa). Unfortunately premier inn don't do actual twin rooms with 2 proper beds. Sunday I was out from early at remembrance day so nothing to report that end. On my return mid afternoon I felt the room was a bit cool and put it down to me standing about in the cold all day, despite turning up the heating, and giving it a chance to warm up, it didn't come on. Went out for dinner a few hrs later and reported it to reception who checked and informed us it seemed to have been turned off their end but had now switched it on, room was warm on our return from dinner. On Monday morning the restaurant was open again, we paid for breakfast and had a good selection of hot/cold options and fruit juices/teas/coffee. No pressure to leave restaurant even though we were the last few. On return from breakfast we requested a late check out (£10 until 2pm) we duly paid the money and returned to our room more to relax and chill out before our journey home later in the day. At just before 1pm someone walked into the room, apologised and left. At around 1.25pm someone else walked into the room again apologised and left. At around 1.30pm the door knocked and on opening it to a member of who I presume to be housekeeping staff I was quizzed on why I was still there as they had no record of it and had I booked an extra night, I replied we had paid for late checkout and she wanted to know how I did it and was it by email, I informed her I had paid that morning in reception. She stated she had no record and left. Now I've no issue with people making sure things are correct but had I paid for late checkout to do a business meeting or to sleep before a work shift or travel journey I would have been disturbed multiple times. Maybe on discovering the room occupied the first time staff could have checked with reception if there was a reason foe the room being occupied, it may have saved a lot of hassle and frustration. The relaxing time wasn't so relaxing. Overall I'd recommend the hotel for location, but beware of early/late checkout it seems to cause confusion.
